In short

UAQ Free Trade Zone says its companies come from more than 150 nationalities, and the Chamber reports commercial memberships up 31% in 2025 (Zawya, reporting WAM). Many people who look up an Umm Al Quwain business online will not share one first language, and nearly all of them hold a handset before they dial. We design and build company sites from our Sharjah office in Muweilah, visiting you for the planning session and the go-live review. We have no office in Umm Al Quwain. Each one is planned around the questions a customer asks, written in English and Arabic where that helps, and finished with the technical basics that let a search engine read it.

What is included

What building a website involves

We handle the whole job, from the first sketch of the structure to the moment it goes live:

The Al Ijaza mobile site on a phone leaning on a red Al Ijaza cup
01

Structure

A sitemap drawn from the questions your customers ask, not from your internal departments.

02

Look and feel

Screens drawn for a handset first, in your colours and type, with right-to-left Arabic where required.

03

Build

A quick, maintainable site with request forms, maps, WhatsApp buttons and visitor statistics wired in.

04

Writing

Plain wording and service descriptions that state what you do and where you work.

05

Search basics

Page titles, descriptions, ordered headings and a Maps listing that match the site.

06

Call routes

Form entries and tap-to-call buttons that deliver each message to the right person.

07

Delivery to you

A site your own staff can edit, with logins and files registered to your business.

When it helps

Signs the website needs rebuilding

  1. 01

It only works on a big screen.

Most customers will pull it up on a handset while standing in a car park. If the text is tiny or the menu fails, they go elsewhere.

  2. 02

Nobody can tell what you do.

A front page of slogans and no services sends people back to the results list. State the service and the place plainly.

  3. 03

    The call button is buried.

A form at the bottom of a long page loses anyone who wanted to dial you in the first minute.

  4. 04

    One language only.

Customers in a free zone that reports more than 150 nationalities will often search in English, while neighbours may prefer Arabic. A site in one language leaves half of them reading in their second.

  5. 05

    A growing field of rivals.

Chamber commercial memberships rose 31% in 2025 according to Zawya reporting WAM. More firms means more sites for a shopper to compare in the same minute.

  6. 06

    You do not own it.

If the domain or hosting was registered in a former employee’s name, or a freelancer’s, nothing can change without asking them.

Process

How we work on website design in Umm Al Quwain

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We start with who looks you up, on which device and what they want to do next. We read your current site, your map listing and two or three rivals’ sites. Then we agree the pages and the single most important action on each one.

  2. 02

    Architect

We draw the first screen and one inner page first, in English and, where it is needed, Arabic. You see them in a handset-sized frame before we build, so the layout is argued about while changing it is cheap.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We build the site, wire in the forms, WhatsApp and statistics, and try it on real handsets and common browsers. Print and signage from Abcon Group companies can match the site, so the website, the shopfront and the brochures look alike.

  4. 04

    Compound

After it goes live we watch what people do, revise pages when services change and repair anything that breaks. If you later want search or social support, it builds on the same foundation rather than starting again.

Cost

What shapes the cost of a website in Umm Al Quwain

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Number of pages

A five-page company site and a fifty-page catalogue are very different builds.

Languages

English and Arabic need two sets of wording and a right-to-left layout.

Functions

Booking, ordering, product lookup or login areas need programming and checking.

Writing and photography

If we write the text or arrange pictures, that is priced separately.

Integrations

A CRM, a payment tool or an accounting system adds connection work.

Continuing care

Hosting, revisions and support after go-live are agreed separately.

Questions and answers

Do you design and build the site yourselves?

Yes. We design, build and wire up the site. If you already have a programmer, we can design and write the pages and pass them across instead.

Can the site be in English and Arabic?

Yes. We decide which pages need both languages and lay them out for right-to-left reading, so the Arabic is drawn properly and not pasted in.

Will it rank on Google for Umm Al Quwain searches?

We build the technical foundations and write pages for the services people look up with the place name. Positions depend on content, rivals and reputation over time, so we do not promise one.

Can customers message us on WhatsApp from the site?

Yes. We add tap-to-chat and tap-to-call buttons, plus a form that routes each message to the right person.

Do we keep ownership of the domain and files?

Yes. The domain, hosting account and site files should be registered to your business, with us added as a user for the project.

Can we plan the site in person?

Yes. We can visit you in Umm Al Quwain for the planning session, review the design on a handset together and use video for the rest. The Muweilah office in Sharjah is open if you prefer to come to us.

What happens if our site goes down?

Hosting is chosen with you, and before it goes live we agree who gets called, how a fault is reported and where the backups sit. A small business site should never depend on one person’s laptop or a memory stick in a drawer.

Should the site list our prices?

Only if you want it to. Some trades sell better by showing a range or a starting point, others by inviting a call. We look at how your customers actually ask, set the page accordingly and publish nothing without your approval.

What should we share before a website design project in Umm Al Quwain?

Supply your logo, existing web address and social links, a list of services, pictures, the questions customers ask most and two or three sites you admire. Tell us who will answer the messages and who approves the pages.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
