In short
Khaleej Times describes Downtown Umm Al Quwain as a coastal masterplan with an 11 km coastline, and the UAE government portal says the emirate plans to triple its mangrove cover by 2031 and counts fishing as a key economic contributor.Water, shoreline and working boats set this emirate apart from the inland ones, and a business here often has something striking to show. We produce stills and film for Umm Al Quwain companies, organised from our Sharjah office in Muweilah, with the crew travelling to you. We have no office or studio in Umm Al Quwain. We write the frame list with you first, so the visit produces pictures that get published rather than merely collected.

What is included
What a photography job covers
We scope the work around where the pictures will appear:
01
Frame list
A written list of stills and clips, each tagged with where it will appear, agreed before the crew travels.
02
Product and cuisine
Controlled pictures of packs, plates and bottles, lighted for a website, a counter display or an advert.
03
Premises and sites
Exteriors, workshops, boats and yards, captured to convey scale and standard.
04
Owners and staff
Portraits and working pictures of owners and crews, arranged so nobody looks stiff.
05
Short film
A film for a launch, an introduction or an advert, with script, filming and assembly.
06
Titles and captions
Lettering and animated captions added to clips so they work with the sound off.
07
Versions per platform
Versions cropped and trimmed for the website, social pages, in-store displays and print.

When it helps
Signs your business needs better pictures
01
Snapshots of products.
Mixed backgrounds, light and angles make a catalogue look improvised. A buyer reads that as the standard of the product.
02
The website shows borrowed pictures.
Strangers and places that are not yours erode trust. Genuine pictures help visitors believe the rest.
03
A working waterfront or workshop.
A business tied to the sea, the coast or a workshop has a picture of its own to offer. A frame that shows the actual place is hard to copy.
04
Video is a blank spot.
Customers watch short clips before they call. A clear sequence can do the work of a whole page of text.
05
The look wanders.
Different colours, styles and crops from different sessions make the brand look inconsistent across a site and a feed.
06
You are launching.
A new line, branch or promotion needs pictures that match the identity from the first morning.
Process
How we work on photography and video in Umm Al Quwain
Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.
01
Diagnose
We begin with where the pictures will appear and what they must show. We visit the location or study snapshots of it, check light and access, and write the frame list and the schedule with you.
02
Architect
We agree the look: colours, backgrounds, accessories, clothing and the quality of the light. For people and cuisine, we arrange the set, brief a stylist or talent and rehearse any difficult frame.
03
Deploy
We capture, select and retouch, then assemble film with captions and sound. Files are delivered in sizes for the website, social pages and print. Drone filming needs permission from the relevant authorities, which we raise in the plan.
04
Compound
We keep a library of the approved pictures and clips, and arrange the next visit around the gaps. A tidy library saves money, because one session can supply many posts, pages and adverts.

Selected work
Photography that carries to Umm Al Quwain
We have not worked for an Umm Al Quwain client. These four pictures from our portfolio show a plated dish, a burger, a bottled drink in a relaxed scene and a gym.
What shapes the cost of photography and video in Umm Al Quwain
We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.
A single product session is smaller than a full set of sites, people and film.
Crew and equipment
Lighting, talent, sound and drones each add people and kit.
Location and travel
Time on site costs more than studio work, and travel and access are built in.
Retouching and post-production
Assembling film, animated titles and heavy retouching take more time than a quick selection.
Usage
Where the pictures will appear, such as print, outdoor and boosted adverts, affects the licence.
Permissions
Drone and site permissions may take time and are built into the schedule.
What clients say on Google
★★★★★5 out of 5 stars
We (Tayn Roastery) have been working with Abcon Branding for the past 4 years for social media management, packaging design, and printing services. Their team has always been professional, creative, and reliable with on-time delivery. We’ve been consistently happy with the quality of work and highly recommend them.
I worked with them for my new startup. They supported me from my logo branding, product photography, website creation to marketing campaigns. Amazing team. Highly recommended.
Yes. We organise from our Sharjah office in Muweilah and the crew travels to your premises or site. We settle access, light and timing before the visit.
Can you photograph dishes, bottles and packs?
Yes. Our portfolio includes plated food, a burger, drinks and product frames. We arrange lighting and styling to suit the final use.
Can you film from a boat or on the coast?
We can arrange coastal or on-water filming, but it depends on safe access, weather and permissions that the owner or the operator must obtain. We include them in the schedule.
Do you use drones?
Where permitted. Drone filming in the UAE needs permission from the relevant authorities, which we flag at the start and plan around.
Who owns the final files?
Usage rights are set out in the proposal. In most projects your business can use the finished pictures and films across its own pages and print.
Can the film be trimmed for social pages and the website?
Yes. We prepare versions for each platform in the right shape, with captions in Arabic, English or both.
What do you need from us on site?
A named contact who can open doors and decide quickly, a clear area to work in, and the products, dishes or people ready. If the site is trading, tell us the quietest hours so the crew does not block your customers.
How do you handle strong sunshine and humid coastal air?
We plan outdoor frames for the softer light of early morning or late afternoon, bring reflectors and diffusion to tame glare, and keep cameras sealed until they have adjusted to the humidity so lenses do not fog.
What should we share before a photography and video project in Umm Al Quwain?
Tell us what the pictures are for and where they will appear. Share snapshots of the location, the products or dishes, your brand colours and any examples you admire. Tell us who will be photographed and who approves the final selection.
Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?
Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
