In short
Downtown Umm Al Quwain, launched in April 2025, is described by Khaleej Times as a 25 million sq ft coastal masterplan with an 11 km coastline, intended to house more than 150,000 residents.Advertisers who want a place in front of that audience will need creative that works on a road, a shopfront and a phone. We plan campaigns and design the artwork for Umm Al Quwain businesses from our Sharjah office in Muweilah, and we visit you for the briefing and the sign-off. We have no office in Umm Al Quwain. Because Abcon Group includes Abjar Signboard Works, German Printing Press and advertising companies of its own, the same group can take the work into production.

What is included
What an advertising project covers
We begin with one idea and then work out where each version will be seen:
01
Campaign idea
One line and one picture that can be used on a banner, a poster, a screen and a van.
02
Outdoor and roadside
Billboard, shelter and building-wrap artwork drawn to the exact size and reading distance.
03
Print
Brochures, flyers, menus and inserts, with layout planned for Arabic and English.
04
Digital adverts
Social and search adverts that continue the same idea in the right formats.
05
Video and motion
Short films and animated adverts, with scripts, edits and captions.
06
Point of sale
Counter cards, window graphics and in-store signage that echo the campaign.
07
Production
Printing and installation coordinated through Abcon Group, or artwork prepared for your own suppliers.

When it helps
Signs you need a campaign and not a one-off advert
01
Each advert says something different.
The banner, the brochure and the post make three separate promises. A shopper cannot tell what you stand for.
02
The road reading test fails.
If a driver cannot read your line in a glance, the idea is too long. We check outdoor artwork at distance before it goes to print.
03
You have a launch coming.
A new branch, product or opening needs a short burst that everyone on the team recognises and repeats.
04
A large new audience is planned.
The Downtown Umm Al Quwain masterplan is intended for more than 150,000 residents. A business aiming at them needs an idea that can grow with the neighbourhood.
05
Printing is the last thought.
Artwork sent to a press without bleed, a proof or colour references can come back unusable.
06
Permits are a surprise.
Outdoor signs and adverts can need approval from the relevant Umm Al Quwain authority. We list what to check before artwork is final.
Process
How we work on advertising agency in Umm Al Quwain
Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.
01
Diagnose
We begin with a briefing at your premises or online. We ask what you want people to do, who they are, where they will see the advert and what your competitors say. We also collect photos of the exact sites for outdoor or sign work.
02
Architect
We develop the idea and show it on mock-ups of the real places: a roadside frame, a shopfront, a phone screen. We write the line in Arabic and English together so the idea works in each language.
03
Deploy
We prepare artwork to each supplier’s specification and coordinate production. Abjar Signboard Works can make signs and German Printing Press can print, or we deliver files to your own suppliers. Any permit is applied for by the owner or the supplier, and we flag the need in the plan.
04
Compound
Once the campaign is running we collect what customers said and which version drew calls. The next round of artwork builds on the one that worked.

Selected work
Advertising work that carries to Umm Al Quwain
We have not run a campaign for an Umm Al Quwain client. This portfolio work shows the same idea moving across formats: a bus shelter, outdoor posters, a film, print and a signage detail.
What shapes the cost of advertising in Umm Al Quwain
We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.
A poster is simpler than a campaign across outdoor, print, social and film.
Idea development
Finding a strong line and image takes more time than resizing one.
Languages
Writing and laying out each advert in Arabic and English adds work.
Production
Printing, installation and any film crew are quoted separately and depend on size and materials.
Media space
The owner of a billboard or digital screen sets the rental, which is not part of our fee.
Approvals
Permits and landlord consents add steps and need to be planned into the schedule.

What does an advertising agency do for a business in Umm Al Quwain?
It turns a business goal into one campaign idea, designs the adverts for each place they will appear and makes sure they are produced and placed properly.
Do you buy media space?
We advise on where a campaign should run and prepare artwork to each owner’s specification. Media rental is separate from our fee, and we set out who books what.
Can you make and install the signs?
Abjar Signboard Works in Abcon Group can produce signs, and German Printing Press can print. The proposal says which parts we design and which the group produces.
Do we need a permit for outdoor adverts?
Outdoor adverts and signs can need approval from the relevant Umm Al Quwain authority. We cannot give that approval, but we list the checks and leave time for them.
Can you make a campaign in Arabic and English?
Yes. We write both versions together so the headline works in each, instead of translating one word for word.
Can we meet in Umm Al Quwain?
Yes. We can visit you for the briefing and the sign-off and run the rest online. The Muweilah office in Sharjah is another option.
How do you test an advert before it goes up?
We print the artwork to scale and pin it on a wall, then step back across the room, because a line that works on a laptop can fail from the far side of a road. For roadside work we also check the colours against bright sunshine, which washes out pale shades.
Can one idea run across a poster, a leaflet and an online advert?
That is the aim. We choose a single visual device, such as a recurring colour block or a tight crop of the product, and a short line that survives translation, then adapt it to each format. Cutting the idea down to its core is the hard part; resizing is easy.
What should we share before an advertising project in Umm Al Quwain?
Tell us the goal, the audience and what they should do after seeing the advert. Send your logo and identity, past adverts, photos of sites for outdoor work and your budget range. Tell us who approves the final artwork.
Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?
Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
