A guest meets a hospitality brand long before check-in: on a booking site, in a review, in a photograph and a confirmation email. Then the brand has to hold up in person, on the building sign, at reception, on the key card, the uniform and the room directory. Abcon Branding builds brands for hotels, resorts, serviced apartments and hospitality groups in Dubai and across the UAE, from the name and identity to signage, printed guest material and the website. Restaurants have a page of their own; this one is about the property and the stay. Our portfolio is led by food and retail work, and the projects shown here share skills a hotel brand relies on.

What hotel and hospitality branding covers
A hospitality brand has to work for a guest deciding where to stay, a guest already in the building and the staff who deliver the stay. Most projects draw on some of these:
01Positioning and guest profile
who the property is for, whether business travellers, families, long-stay residents or leisure guests, and what the stay should feel like compared with the properties around it.
02Naming
names for a new property, its outlets, its room categories and its loyalty or residents’ programme, checked for how they sound and read in English and Arabic.
03Identity and brand world
a logo, palette, type and pattern that work on a building at night, on a small key card and on a phone screen, with a direction for photography and tone of voice.
04Group and property architecture
for hospitality groups: how the group name, each property and each outlet relate, so guests can tell what belongs together.
05Signage and wayfinding
exterior and entrance signs, lobby and reception walls, floor and room numbering and directional signs, produced through Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works where needed.
06Guest material in print
key cards and sleeves, welcome letters, in-room directories, door hangers, stationery and amenity labels, prepared for German Printing Press or your own printer.
07Uniforms and staff ID
uniform direction, name badges and lanyards for front office, housekeeping, concierge and food and beverage teams.
08Amenity and retail packaging
amenity boxes, gift bags and shop items, with paper packaging available through Abcon Group’s packaging companies, GPack Paper Packaging and Alfapack.
09Website and booking journey
a website with clear room, offer and location pages, a booking route that works on a phone, and templates for confirmation and pre-arrival emails.
10Photography, film and social content
rooms, food, spaces and people photographed and filmed for the website, booking platforms and social channels by our creative studio.

What a hotel or hospitality brand has to do
Be chosen from a screen.
Many guests compare properties on booking platforms and maps, where every listing shares the same layout. The name, the photographs and the first line of description do most of the work.
Match the promise in person.
If the website looks refined and the reception looks tired, guests notice the gap. Signs, uniforms and printed material need the same care as the photography.
Speak to the right guest.
Business travellers, families and long-stay residents want different things from the same building. A clear position decides which of them the brand leads with.
Hold together across outlets.
A property may run restaurants, a pool, a spa and event spaces. Each can have its own character, but guests should still feel they are in one place.
Survive daily handling.
Key cards, directories, menus and signs are handled by many people every day. Materials and layouts have to stay legible and be easy to replace.
Welcome guests in their language.
Guests in the UAE arrive from everywhere. Arabic and English are the base, and some properties add other languages for the material guests rely on most.
How we work on hotel and hospitality branding
Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here.
01
Diagnose
We look at the property, its location, its guests and how they book, whether through your own site, booking platforms, travel agents or corporate accounts. We walk through the property where possible, review the guest feedback themes you share with us, and audit every touchpoint from the booking page to the room.
02
Architect
We agree the position and the guest profile, develop names where needed and design the identity together with its key applications: the entrance sign, reception, a key card, a room directory and the website’s room page. For groups, the relationship between the group, each property and each outlet is decided first.
03
Deploy
We prepare guidelines, signage artwork, print-ready guest material, uniform direction and the website. Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works, German Printing Press and its packaging companies can produce signs, print and amenity packaging, or we prepare files to your suppliers’ specifications. Operator standards and landlord approvals are identified in the scope.
04
Compound
When the property adds an outlet, a season, a renovation or a second property, it follows the system. We extend the brand, keep the photography and the website current, and support marketing and social content as an ongoing scope if you need it.

Work from other sectors that shows the same skills
Work from our cafés, restaurants, retail and group brands that shows what a hotel brand relies on: signage by day and at night, bilingual names, guest-facing print and packaging, uniforms and a website that tells the story of a place.
What shapes the cost of hotel and hospitality branding
We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.
Opening or repositioning: a new name and identity for an opening is a different job from refreshing an operating property while it stays open to guests.
Outlets and spaces: restaurants, a spa, a pool, meeting rooms and residences may each need a name, a lockup or a variation of the identity.
Signage and wayfinding: exterior, lobby, floor and room signs are produced separately, and their cost depends on size, materials, lighting and installation.
Guest material: key cards, directories, stationery, amenity labels and menus each add design time, and print runs set the production budget.
Uniforms: uniform direction across departments adds scope; garment sourcing and production are quoted by the uniform supplier.
Website and booking: the website, its connection to your booking engine and pre-arrival emails, and whether content is written in more than one language.
Photography and film: shoots of rooms, food and people are planned around occupancy and quoted separately from design.

Can you brand a hotel or serviced-apartment property?
Yes. A hotel brand is built from the pieces we design every day for cafés, restaurants, retail and groups: a bilingual name, building and wayfinding signage, guest-facing print and packaging, uniforms and a website that tells the story of the place. We plan them together so the stay feels like one brand from booking to check-out.
Do you also brand the restaurants inside a hotel?
Yes. Hotel outlets often need names and identities of their own that still sit comfortably inside the property. Restaurants and cafés make up a large part of our portfolio, from Al Ijaza to Waqtal Mandi and Kukit. Our restaurant and café branding page covers that work in detail.
Can you rebrand a property while it stays open?
Yes. We plan the change in stages so guests never meet half a brand: usually the website, booking listings and digital material first, then signs, print and uniforms as they are replaced. We agree the order with your operations team so the work fits around occupancy.
We operate under an international hotel brand. Can you still help?
If the property follows an operator’s brand standards, those standards come first. We can work within them on local material, outlets, campaigns, photography and content, and we check with you which elements the operator controls before designing anything.
Can you design signage and wayfinding for a hotel?
Yes. We design exterior, lobby, floor, room and directional signs as one family, sized to the building, and Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works can produce them. The Waqtal Mandi presentation shows an identity lit on a night shopfront, and Kukit’s a projecting sign with its own silhouette. Landlord, operator and authority approvals are identified in the scope.
Do you design key cards, room directories and amenity packaging?
Yes. We design printed guest material and packaging from the identity, ready for German Printing Press, Abcon Group’s packaging companies or your own suppliers. The Mashaghal Hareer presentation box and the Al Ijaza range of cups, bags, boxes and menus show how we carry one identity across many small pieces.
Do you build hotel websites?
Yes. We plan clear room, offer and location pages and a booking route that works on a phone, then design and build the site and connect it to the booking engine you use, which is provided by your chosen supplier. The Al Ijaza website shows how we tell a place’s story in a single scroll.
How long does a hospitality branding project take?
It depends on whether the work covers a new name, the number of outlets, the signage and print involved and your opening or renovation date. We agree the timeline with you after a first diagnostic conversation, before any work begins, and set it out in the proposal.
What should we share before a hotel or hospitality branding project?
Tell us about the property: location, number of rooms or units, outlets, guest mix and how guests book. Share the current identity, photographs of the building, lobby, rooms and signage, your website and booking listings, and any guest feedback themes you are happy to share. Tell us about opening or renovation dates, any operator standards that apply and who approves the work.
Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?
Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
