Advertising and campaigns in Dubai and across the UAE.

Abcon Branding plans and designs advertising for businesses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and across the UAE: the campaign idea, the outdoor and transit posters, the print, the social and digital ads and the films. We are part of Abcon Group, which began in 1997 and includes advertising companies, a signboard works, a printing press and two packaging companies. That means a campaign can move from the first idea to the printed poster and the installed sign inside one group, with the people who designed it still involved.

Our offices are in Dubai (Al Qusais) and Sharjah (Muweilah). We work with businesses across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, and in Oman.

What our advertising work covers

Most campaigns need several of these at once. We plan them together so every format carries the same idea:

Campaign strategy
what the advertising has to change for the business, who it is aimed at, the one message they should take away and where they are most likely to meet it.
Creative concept and key visual
the line and the image that every other piece is built from, presented with the reasoning and shown in the main formats before anything is adapted.
Outdoor and transit
billboards, hoardings, bus shelter posters, mall lightboxes and building wraps, designed for people who see them from a distance or on the move.
Print
flyers, brochures, leaflets, menus, posters and press ads, with artwork prepared to the printer’s specifications and colour checked against proofs.
Digital and social ads
static, carousel and short video ads sized for each platform, written to make someone stop scrolling and leading to a page that finishes the job.
Video and motion
advertising films, product films and animated versions of the key visual, from the script and storyboard to the edit and the shorter cuts for each channel.
Point of sale and signage
shelf talkers, standees, window graphics, shopfront signs and in-store displays that take the campaign to the place people buy.
Production and installation
printing, sign fabrication and installation through Abcon Group’s companies, or artwork and supervision for the suppliers you already use.
Bilingual copy and layout
English and Arabic versions written side by side and laid out separately, so each one reads naturally rather than as a translation.

When a business needs an advertising partner

  1. A launch, an opening or a season is coming.

A new product, a new branch or a busy season gives the business a short window to be noticed. The campaign has to be designed, produced and installed before that window opens.

  2. Every ad looks as if a different company made it.

When the poster, the social post and the van were each designed by someone else, customers see several messages and remember none of them. One idea across every format fixes that.

  3. People see the ads but nothing happens.

If the campaign gets noticed but nobody calls, visits or orders, the message, the offer or the route to act needs work. More media spend will not fix it.

  4. The brand is clear, but few people outside the shop know it.

A strong identity still has to be put in front of people. Advertising is how the brand reaches customers who have never walked past the door.

  5. Design and production are split between suppliers.

Artwork that arrives at the wrong size, or prints darker than it looked on screen, costs time and money. Keeping design and production close avoids most of it.

  6. The campaign has to work in more than one emirate.

A campaign for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah may need different formats, languages and approvals in each place, and that is easier to plan at the start than at installation.

How we work on advertising and campaigns

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here:

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We start with the business goal behind the campaign and the people it has to reach. We review past advertising and what came of it, competitors’ campaigns, the budget range for media and production, and the dates that matter. If the campaign will run in more than one emirate, we list the locations and formats early so production and approvals can be planned around them.

  2. 02

    Architect

We write the core message and develop the creative concept and key visual, then show them in the formats that matter most: a bus shelter, a social ad, a flyer, a frame from the film. Once the idea is approved, we adapt it to every size and language, so you approve one idea instead of judging each poster on its own.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We prepare production artwork for each format and supplier, shoot or film what the campaign needs, and coordinate printing, fabrication and installation. Abcon Group’s Abjar Advertising, Abjar Signboard Works and German Printing Press can produce the work inside the group, or we prepare files to your suppliers’ specifications and check the proofs before anything is printed.

  4. 04

    Compound

We track the measures agreed at the start, look at what each format and channel contributed, and use that to plan the next burst or season. The key visual, templates and source files stay ready, so the next campaign builds on this one instead of starting from a blank page.

Campaign and production work from our portfolio

Campaign visuals, outdoor and transit mockups, social ads, print, signage and an advertising film from our portfolio. The outdoor and signage images are design mockups from the original presentations, and the film is published on Abcon Branding’s YouTube channel. They show the creative work, not reach, sales or campaign results.

Decisions behind the work

See how an idea carries into the design. These examples draw on the original project presentations.

Choco Moments: Campaign artwork: Nutrients

How does one campaign carry several messages?

The Choco Moments campaign boards pair the jar with three words, Energy, Nutrients and Taste, each held up by a different person against the same brown background.

The jar, the setting and the bold headline style stay fixed while the word and the person change, so each visual can run on its own and still read as part of one campaign.

Tayn Roastery: Ingredient-led product scene

How does the pack become the advert?

A Tayn Roastery campaign board places the Raspberry Cheese bar on a bed of raspberries, so the flavour fills the frame behind the wrapper.

The wrapper’s own colour and ingredient cue become the setting of the advert, which means a shopper who saw the visual can find the same bar on the shelf.

What shapes the cost of advertising

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most:

  • The idea: a single promotion adapted to a few formats is a smaller job than a new campaign concept with a key visual, a line and a full rollout.
  • Formats and sizes: each billboard size, social placement, print item and language version adds artwork and checking.
  • Photography and film: shoots, talent, locations, voiceover and editing are planned and quoted separately, and depend on the brief.
  • Production and installation: materials, print runs, fabrication, access equipment and fitting are quoted against the actual sites and quantities.
  • Media: outdoor sites, transit panels and paid social or search placements are booked with media owners and platforms, and media costs are separate from our fees.
  • Approvals: where outdoor advertising or signs need a permit, the requirements are confirmed with the relevant emirate authority and can affect the schedule.
  • Ongoing management: running and reporting on digital ads after launch is a separate, ongoing scope from the creative project.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Questions and answers

What does an advertising agency in the UAE do for a business?

It turns a business goal into a campaign: the message, the idea, the formats and the places it runs. We plan the strategy, write and design the creative, produce photography and film, and take the work into print, fabrication and installation through Abcon Group or your own suppliers. We work with businesses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates.

Do you handle outdoor and transit advertising?

Yes. We design billboards, hoardings, bus shelter posters, mall lightboxes and building wraps, and prepare artwork to each media owner’s specifications. The Gulf Titles presentation shows the channel’s identity on a bus shelter poster, and the Kukit boards show a run of outdoor posters along a covered walkway.

Do we need a permit for outdoor advertising or signs?

Often, but the requirements depend on the emirate, the location and the type of advert or sign. Confirm the current requirements with the relevant emirate authority before anything is produced. We ask where each piece will go early, leave time for approvals in the plan and keep the artwork easy to adjust if changes are requested.

Can Abcon Group print, fabricate and install the work?

Yes. Abcon Group includes Abjar Advertising, Concept Advertising, Abjar Signboard Works, German Printing Press, Alfapack Plastic & Paper Packaging and GPack Paper Packaging. Posters, signs, printed material and promotional packaging can be produced inside the group, and the proposal sets out which company handles each part.

Do you buy the media space?

We advise on where the campaign should run and prepare artwork to each owner’s specifications. Media is booked with the media owners and platforms, and its cost is separate from our fees. Before the campaign starts, we agree who books each placement and whose account it sits in.

Can you make advertising films?

Yes. Our creative studio plans, shoots and edits advertising films, product films and short versions for social media. The Mercedes-Benz Off-Road Experience Center video and the AGs film are both on Abcon Branding’s YouTube channel. Our videography page explains how we plan a shoot.

Do you run social media and digital ads as well?

Yes. We design the ads for each platform, and our digital marketing team can plan the targeting, run the campaigns and report on them. The ad accounts, pages and data should belong to your business, with our team added as users.

Can the campaign be in Arabic and English?

Yes. We write the two versions side by side so the headline works in each, then lay out each language on its own, because Arabic often needs a different line length and position on the page. Offer terms, phone numbers and addresses are checked line by line in both.

How do you measure whether the advertising worked?

We agree the measures at the start, based on what the campaign is meant to change: enquiries, store visits, orders, sign-ups or awareness among a defined group. Digital ads report clicks and conversions directly. For outdoor and print, dedicated landing pages, QR codes, offer codes or phone numbers let responses be traced back. We do not promise reach or sales figures.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. Our head office is in Al Qusais, Dubai, and we have an office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We plan campaigns for businesses in every emirate, including Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain, and Abcon Group also works in Oman. We have no office in Abu Dhabi, so campaign meetings take place at our offices or online. For campaigns that run mainly in Sharjah, our Sharjah advertising page explains how we work there.

How long does an advertising campaign take to prepare?

It depends on the number of formats, whether a shoot or film is needed, the production quantities and any approvals. We plan backwards from your launch date, confirm the schedule after the first diagnostic conversation and include it in the proposal.

What should we share before an advertising campaign?

Tell us what you are advertising, the one thing people should do after seeing it and the date it needs to start. Share your brand guidelines and logo files, any past campaigns and how they performed, and where you want the campaign to appear, by emirate and by format. Give us a range for the media and production budget if you have one, and tell us who will approve the creative.

Preparing the first conversation? Build a brand project brief around your business challenge, audience and priorities.
