People choose a clinic, a dentist or a pharmacy when they are worried, busy or in pain, so a healthcare brand has to be calm, clear and easy to trust. Abcon Branding builds brands for clinics, medical centres, dental practices, pharmacies and wellness businesses in Dubai and across the UAE: the identity, signage and wayfinding inside the building, patient material, uniforms, vehicles and a website that makes booking simple. Our portfolio includes Mednoora, a healthcare identity, alongside work from other sectors that uses the same skills. Medical claims and regulated content always come from you, and we design from the approved text.

What healthcare and clinic branding covers
A healthcare brand is used by patients, their families, referring doctors and your own staff, often at stressful moments. Depending on the practice, the work includes:
01Positioning
what the practice should be known for, whether a specialty, family care, speed, comfort or a particular community, and how that differs from the clinics nearby.
02Naming
names for a new clinic, pharmacy, medical centre or service line that are easy to say, spell and search for in English and Arabic.
03Identity
a logo, palette and type that feel reassuring without looking cold, and that stay legible on a small appointment card and a large building sign.
04Signage and wayfinding
exterior signs, reception, department and room signs, and directions between floors, designed so a patient finds the right door without asking. Produced through Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works where needed.
05The appointment journey
the booking page, confirmation messages, reminders, the reception desk and follow-up material, planned as one sequence so each step looks and sounds the same.
06Patient information
leaflets, brochures, forms and aftercare sheets laid out for easy reading. You supply and approve the clinical content; we make it clear.
07Uniforms and staff ID
scrubs, coats, name badges and lanyards that help patients tell roles apart at a glance.
08Pharmacy and wellness retail
shopfronts, shelf signs, bags and own-label packaging for pharmacies and wellness stores, with paper packaging available through Abcon Group’s packaging companies.
09Vehicles
livery for home-care, delivery and patient transport vehicles, readable in traffic and consistent with the building.
10Website, maps and search
a website with service and doctor pages, a clear booking route and local search setup, so people nearby can find the practice.

What a healthcare brand has to do
Earn trust quickly.
Patients often choose under pressure and with little time. A clear name, a calm identity and a well-kept entrance tell them the practice is careful before they read a word.
Make the visit easier.
Finding the entrance, the right floor and the right room should not add to someone’s worry. Good wayfinding is part of the brand, not an extra.
Explain services without overclaiming.
Patients want to know what you treat and who will see them. The language has to be plain and accurate, and claims must stay within what you are permitted to say.
Feel the same at every step.
The website, the reminder message, the reception and the aftercare leaflet should all belong together. Inconsistency reads as disorganisation.
Work for every patient.
Children, older patients, families and people who read Arabic first all use the same building. Type sizes, colour contrast and language choices have to account for them.
Leave room for new services and branches.
A single clinic often adds a specialty, a pharmacy or a second site. The identity should have room for them without starting again.
How we work on healthcare and clinic branding
Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here.
01
Diagnose
We learn how patients find and choose you: referrals, insurance networks, search, walk-ins or word of mouth. We walk the patient route through the building, review the website, booking flow, signs and printed material, and talk to the reception team, who hear patients’ questions every day.
02
Architect
We agree the position and the tone, then design the identity in Arabic and English together and test it where patients meet it: the entrance sign, a corridor, an appointment card, a uniform and the booking page. For groups with several clinics or a pharmacy, we decide how the names relate before designing them.
03
Deploy
We prepare guidelines, signage and wayfinding artwork, print templates, uniform direction, vehicle artwork and the website. Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works and German Printing Press can produce the signs and print. Any approval your advertising, signage or patient material needs from a health authority or landlord is identified in the scope, and you obtain it with the files we prepare.
04
Compound
As the practice adds services, doctors or branches, they join the system. We keep the website and patient material current, review how patients use the booking route and extend the identity to new sites.

Healthcare and related work in our portfolio
Mednoora, a healthcare identity, and the eye-care brochures from our print work, alongside retail and household-care projects that show what a clinic or pharmacy brand needs: calm signage, staff ID and a range that sits well on a shelf.
We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.
One clinic or a group: a single practice needs fewer applications than a medical group with several branches, specialties or a pharmacy.
New brand or refresh: a new name and identity is a larger job than refreshing one that patients already know.
Signage and wayfinding: the number of floors, departments and rooms sets the wayfinding scope, and production depends on materials and installation.
Patient material: leaflets, forms, aftercare sheets and appointment cards add design time, and translation adds more where material is bilingual.
Website and booking: service and doctor pages, the booking route and any connection to your practice management or booking system.
Uniforms and vehicles: the number of roles, garments and vehicles affects the artwork, and production is quoted separately.
Photography: photographing your team and facilities is planned around patient privacy and clinic hours, and quoted separately.
Absolutely amazing experience working with this team. Their creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of branding is on another level. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their brand presence.👍👍
We (Tayn Roastery) have been working with Abcon Branding for the past 4 years for social media management, packaging design, and printing services. Their team has always been professional, creative, and reliable with on-time delivery. We’ve been consistently happy with the quality of work and highly recommend them.
Yes. Mednoora is a healthcare identity in our portfolio: a mark drawn from a capsule, a plaster and the letter M, a coral-to-teal palette, and applications on signage, stationery, a desk calendar and a van. Two eye-care brochures sit in the print section of our Work page. Most of our other work is in food, retail and B2B, and this page shows the parts of it that carry over.
Do you write medical claims or check what we are allowed to say?
No. Clinical content, treatment descriptions, doctors’ credentials and any statement about outcomes come from you and are approved by you, along with any authority approval your advertising needs. We write the plain-language parts, such as how to book and what to expect on the day, and design from the approved text.
Can you design wayfinding for our clinic or medical centre?
Yes. We walk the patient route, list every decision point from the car park to the consultation room and design a family of signs that answers each one. The Mednoora presentation shows the identity on a building fascia and as a hanging banner in a corridor. Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works can produce the signs.
Can a healthcare brand feel warm without looking unprofessional?
Yes. Mednoora uses coral and soft pinks beside teal and light blue, a rounded wordmark and the line “Health is wealth” on a desk calendar. That keeps it calm and approachable without the cold blue-and-white look many clinics share, while the mark still points clearly to care.
Do you brand pharmacies and wellness stores?
Yes. A pharmacy works like a small retail brand: the shopfront, shelf signs, bags, staff and sometimes own-label products. Our retail and FMCG pages show that work, including the Velvia household-care range and the Sara’s Cash & Carry staff identity. Product label content and its approval stay with you.
Can you build our website with online booking?
Yes. We plan service and doctor pages, place the booking route where patients need it and connect it to the booking or practice system you already use. We do not promise a number of appointments; we design the route and review how it is used.
Our branches all look different. Can you bring them together?
Yes. We audit each branch, set clear rules for the identity, signs and patient material, and plan the replacement branch by branch, starting with what patients see first. Our rebranding page explains how we decide what to keep.
How long does a healthcare branding project take?
It depends on the number of branches, whether a new name is needed and how much signage, patient material and website work is involved. We agree the timeline with you after a first diagnostic conversation, before any work begins, and set it out in the proposal.
What should we share before a healthcare branding project?
Tell us about the practice: specialties, branches, the patients you see and how they usually find you. Share the current logo, photographs of the building, reception and signs, your website and booking flow, patient leaflets and forms, and any landlord or authority guidelines you already know about. Tell us who approves clinical content and who approves the design.
Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?
Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
