In education, the people who choose are often not the people who attend. Parents choose schools and nurseries, employers choose training providers, and students compare universities with their families beside them. Abcon Branding builds brands for schools, nurseries, training institutes and higher education providers in Dubai and across the UAE: the name, the crest or logo, uniforms, signage, prospectuses, admissions material and a website that answers a parent’s questions quickly. Our published portfolio comes from other sectors, and the work on this page is chosen because it shows the same skills an education brand depends on.

What school and education branding covers
An education brand is lived with every day by students, staff and parents, and judged once a year by families comparing options. Depending on the institution, the work includes:
01Positioning
what the school or institute stands for, its curriculum, approach and community as you describe them, and how it differs from the other options families consider.
02Naming
names for a new school, nursery, campus, academy or programme that parents can say, spell and search for in English and Arabic.
03Crest, logo and identity
a crest or emblem with meaning behind it, a simpler logo for small and digital use, and a palette and type that work on a blazer badge, a sports kit and a website.
04Uniforms and sports kit
badge placement, colour and pattern rules for uniforms, PE kits, bags and staff clothing, prepared as specifications for the uniform supplier.
05Signage and wayfinding
entrance and building signs, classroom and department signs, and directions for visitors on open days, produced through Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works where needed.
06Prospectus and admissions material
printed and digital prospectuses, admissions information layouts, open-day material and enrolment packs. You supply and approve fees, curriculum and inspection details.
07Website and admissions journey
a website that answers parents’ main questions quickly, with a clear route to book a tour or start an application.
08Social media and admissions campaigns
templates and campaign creative for social channels, events and admissions season, planned with our digital marketing team.
09Everyday templates
letters, certificates, report covers, newsletters and presentation templates, so daily communication carries the brand.
10Photography and film
photographs and short films of real classes, facilities and events, planned around the consent and safeguarding rules you set.

What an education brand has to do
Win the parent’s trust first.
Parents decide with care and compare several schools. The website, the prospectus and the first visit all need to show a well-run institution.
Be worn and used every day.
The crest goes on blazers, bags, buses and certificates. It has to be simple enough to embroider and print cleanly, and meaningful enough that students are glad to wear it.
Answer the practical questions quickly.
Curriculum, fees, location, transport and admissions dates are what families look for first. A site that hides them loses families to one that does not.
Be ready for admissions season.
Enquiries tend to arrive in a few busy periods. Campaigns, open days and the website need to be ready before then, not during.
Hold together across campuses and programmes.
A group with several schools, a nursery and an after-school academy needs to decide what they share and what each one owns.
Work for children, parents and staff.
The same brand must feel friendly to a young child, reassuring to a parent and practical for the teachers who use the templates every day.
How we work on school and education branding
Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here.
01
Diagnose
We learn who chooses the institution and why: the families or employers you serve, the options they compare and the questions admissions staff hear most. We review the current crest or logo, uniforms, signs, prospectus, website and social channels, and talk to leadership, admissions and, where possible, parents.
02
Architect
We agree the position and develop the name, crest and identity together, then test them where they will live: a blazer badge, a sports kit, an entrance sign, a prospectus spread and the website’s admissions page. For groups, we settle how the group, each school and each programme relate before designing them.
03
Deploy
We prepare guidelines, uniform and kit specifications, signage artwork, prospectus and template files and the website. Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works and German Printing Press can produce the signs and print, and our digital marketing team can run admissions campaigns. Approvals from your board, owner or regulator, where they apply, stay with you.
04
Compound
Each admissions season, new campus or programme builds on the same system. We refresh the prospectus and campaign material, keep the website current and extend the identity as the institution grows.
Work from other sectors that shows the same skills
Projects that show what an education brand needs: an emblem with a story behind it, staff ID and uniforms, merchandise, social templates, clear printed documents and photographs of people in action.
What shapes the cost of school and education branding
We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.
New institution or rebrand: a new name, crest and identity for an opening is a different job from refreshing an established school that families already know.
Crest and uniform: a crest needs detailed drawing and simpler versions for embroidery and small sizes; uniform and kit specifications add scope, while garment production is quoted by your supplier.
Campuses and programmes: each school, nursery, campus or academy that needs its own lockup or identity adds design and approval time.
Prospectus and admissions material: page count, languages and whether the prospectus is printed, digital or both.
Signage: the number of buildings and rooms sets the signage scope; production depends on materials and installation.
Website: the number of sections, the admissions route and any connection to your enrolment or school management system.
Photography and campaigns: shoots on campus are planned around the timetable and consent; admissions campaigns are a separate, seasonal scope.

Can you brand a school, nursery or training institute?
Yes. An education brand needs an emblem with a story behind it, uniforms and staff ID, signage, a prospectus, admissions material and a website that answers a parent’s questions quickly. These are the same pieces we design for our other clients, planned for parents, students and staff.
Can you redesign our crest without losing its history?
Yes. We start with what the existing crest means to the school and its families, keep the elements that carry that meaning and redraw it so it embroiders, prints and appears on screen cleanly. We usually add a simpler mark for small and digital use. Our rebranding page explains how we decide how far a brand should move.
Can you design our uniforms?
We design the uniform direction: badge placement, colours, patterns and how the identity appears on blazers, polos, sports kit and bags, and we prepare specifications for your uniform supplier. The Truslink Stores and Gulf Titles presentations show one identity carried onto polo shirts, a T-shirt, tote bags and ID.
Can you write and design our prospectus?
Yes. We plan the order a parent reads in, help shape the wording and design the printed and digital versions. Fees, curriculum details, inspection ratings and accreditation statements come from you and are approved by you before anything is published.
Can our school brand work in Arabic and English?
Yes. We design the two scripts together so neither looks like a translation, and we can prepare prospectuses, signs and the website in both. Translation is planned in the scope, and you approve the final text in both languages.
Can you help with admissions season?
Yes. Our digital marketing team can plan social, search and campaign activity around your open days and application deadlines, with landing pages that lead to a tour booking or an enquiry. We do not promise enrolment numbers; we plan the activity and review what works.
Can you photograph and film on our campus?
Yes. Our creative studio plans shoots around your timetable and events. Consent, safeguarding rules and which students may appear are set and confirmed by the school before any shoot.
How long does a school branding project take?
It depends on whether the work covers a new name and crest, uniforms, signage, the prospectus and the website, and on your admissions calendar. We agree the timeline with you after a first diagnostic conversation, before any work begins, and set it out in the proposal.
What should we share before a school or education branding project?
Tell us about the institution: curriculum or programmes, age groups, campuses, the families or learners you serve and the schools or providers they compare you with. Share the current crest or logo, uniform photographs, signs, the prospectus, website and social channels, and your admissions calendar. Tell us who approves the work, including any board or owner, and any regulator or accreditation guidelines you already follow.
Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?
Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
