In short
A logo for an Umm Al Quwain business usually has to do more jobs than the brief admits. It sits over a shop door, stamps an invoice, goes on a cap and shrinks into a social avatar. We design logos for northern emirates clients from our Sharjah office in Muweilah, the closer of our two offices, and visit you in Umm Al Quwain for the discovery session and the final review. There is no Abcon office in Umm Al Quwain. We begin with questions about the business, then show two or three genuinely different routes on mocked-up signs and vans, in Arabic and English, before one is refined and handed over with files you own.

What is included
What a logo project gives you
A mark is only useful when someone else can use it correctly, so the deliverables go past a single picture:
01
Questions first
What you sell, who reads the sign, which competitors share your street or your trade and what you dislike about your current mark.
02
Two or three routes
Different ideas rather than variations of one, each shown on a mocked signboard and a van before you choose.
03
Both scripts
The Arabic name and the Latin name drawn to the same weight, as a stacked lockup and as a side-by-side lockup.
04
Drawing and grid
The construction lines kept on file, so a sign maker can reproduce every curve and angle exactly.
05
Colour and one-colour versions
Full colour, single colour, white on dark and black on light, for stamps, uniforms and cut vinyl.
06
Smallest-size tests
How the mark reads as a social avatar, a rubber stamp, an embroidered cap and a bottle label.
07
Master files and a one-page sheet
Vector files, a clear-space rule and a minimum size, handed over so you control what you commissioned.

When it helps
When an Umm Al Quwain business should redraw its logo
01
The file is a photograph of a photograph.
Your logo has been copied between phones and printers until the edges are fuzzy. A signboard or a vehicle enlarges every flaw.
02
The Arabic looks like another company.
When the Arabic name was typed in later, the two lines differ in weight and style. Customers read them as two businesses.
03
It disappears on the sign.
Thin lines and pale colours work on a screen but vanish across a road. A mark for a fascia needs more contrast and fewer details.
04
A new company is about to open.
UAQ Free Trade Zone, a designated free zone under Cabinet Decision No. 54 of 2023, is one route for new firms. A company at that stage needs a mark before the first sign, card and website exist.
05
Each printer gets a different colour.
If your red is orange at one shop and maroon at another, nobody has written down what the colour is.
06
You look like the shop next door.
In a small market two businesses can end up with the same cup, crescent or palm tree. A fresh mark separates you.
Process
How we work on logo design in Umm Al Quwain
Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.
01
Diagnose
We meet at your premises or by video and ask about the name, the trade licence, who your customers are and where the logo will be seen. We collect every place the current mark appears and photograph the awkward ones, such as the sign above the door.
02
Architect
We sketch widely, then show a small number of routes with the Arabic and English drawn together. Each route is placed on a mocked fascia, a van and a profile picture so you judge it where it will work, and we narrow to one together.
03
Deploy
The chosen mark gets its colour versions, size tests and a clear-space rule, then goes into a master file pack. For signs, vehicles and print, Abcon Group companies can produce it, or we pass artwork to your own supplier.
04
Compound
A logo matters most when it is applied properly. We stay available to check supplier proofs and to extend the mark when a new branch, product or sub-brand needs a place beside it.

Selected work
Logo work that carries to Umm Al Quwain
We have not published a logo for an Umm Al Quwain client. These marks are from our portfolio and show how we draw, test and explain a logo in two scripts.
We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.
Each extra concept needs its own thinking, drawing and mock-ups.
One script or two
Drawing Arabic and Latin together takes more time than a single-language wordmark.
A symbol or a wordmark
A symbol with meaning to explain needs more development than lettering alone.
Testing and files
Colour versions, size tests and the master pack add careful work after the idea is chosen.
Where it will be applied
A logo for a signboard and a fleet needs more checking than one for a social page.
Name decisions
If the name itself is still open, naming work comes first and is scoped separately.
What clients say on Google
★★★★★5 out of 5 stars
I worked with them for my new startup. They supported me from my logo branding, product photography, website creation to marketing campaigns. Amazing team. Highly recommended.
Very professional work, they choose quality over quantity all the time, creative and innovative , love the fact that they include their own opinions and give me honest feedback, helps with improving business and business development.
Can you meet us in Umm Al Quwain to discuss the logo?
Yes. We can come to your premises for the first session and for the final review, and use video for the rest. The Muweilah office in Sharjah is also open if you prefer to meet there.
Will the logo work in Arabic and English?
We draw both versions at the same time and show them on the same sign, so neither one is a translation added at the end.
How many logo concepts will we see?
A small number of different routes, not a long menu. The exact count is agreed in the proposal, along with how many rounds of refinement follow.
Do we own the logo files?
Yes. Once the project is complete, you receive the master files and the usage sheet, and the logo belongs to your business.
Can the logo go on our vehicles and signboard?
Yes, and we test for it. We mock the logo on a fascia and a van in the design stage, and Abjar Signboard Works in Abcon Group can produce the sign if you want it.
Do you check whether the logo looks like another company’s?
We review the obvious competitors in your trade and avoid shapes and phrases that are everywhere. We cannot run a legal trademark search, so check registration separately.
Can you refresh our old logo instead of replacing it?
Often that is the better answer. We can straighten the lines, rebuild the Arabic, simplify detail and fix the colours while keeping the shape people already recognise. We will tell you honestly when a fresh start is the better route.
What should we share before a logo design project in Umm Al Quwain?
Send the exact name as it appears on the trade licence, your current logo file or a photo of the sign, and examples of marks you like and dislike. Tell us where the logo will appear first, such as a sign, packaging or uniforms, and who approves it.
Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?
Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
