In short

A branded vehicle in Abu Dhabi is read at speed, from the side, by people who may read Arabic from the right. The livery has to carry the name, the service and a way to make contact in a glance, and then repeat the same way on every vehicle in the fleet. Abcon Branding designs vehicle branding for Abu Dhabi fleets from Dubai and Sharjah. We have no office in the capital, so we meet your fleet and brand managers there, usually at the depot, and handle drafts online. Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works can produce the graphics, or we prepare files for your own fitter.

What is included

What a vehicle branding project includes

The work is planned around the vehicles you run and how people see them on the road:

A close view of the Mednoora logo on a van side panel
01

A message hierarchy

What must be read first, such as the name, the service and one way to call or visit, and what can be left out.

02

Livery for each vehicle type

Layouts for vans, pickups, trucks, trailers and cars, drawn on accurate templates of the real vehicle.

03

Arabic and English layouts

Both languages placed so each reads correctly on both sides of the vehicle, with the contact details legible in either.

04

Fleet variations

A base design with allowed changes for body size, route or business unit, so the fleet looks related, not identical.

05

Production artwork

Files at full scale for printing and cutting, with colour values and finishing notes for the fitter.

06

Rollout guidance

The order in which vehicles are done, how new vehicles are added and how to keep damaged panels matching.

When it helps

When an Abu Dhabi fleet needs new livery

  1. 01

    Nobody can read the vehicle.

Too much text and too many logos make a van unreadable at road speed. Fewer, larger elements are remembered.

  2. 02

Fleets drift as vehicles are added.

Each new van is branded by whoever is available, and the fleet stops looking like one company. A template and a supplier brief prevent it.

  3. 03

    The Arabic is an afterthought.

Placing it beside the English without checking either side of the vehicle leaves one side wrong. Each side should be designed to read naturally.

  4. 04

    The vehicles cross emirates.

Many fleets run between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, so one design has to work in both. Check any permit or approval rules with the relevant authority before production.

  5. 05

The brand has changed but the vehicles have not.

New names, marks or contact details leave old vans on the road, which confuses customers. A rollout plan changes them in a sensible order.

  6. 06

Damage and repairs spoil the match.

Replaced panels and faded graphics make a fleet look neglected. Production files and a colour specification make repairs match.

Process

How we work on vehicle branding in Abu Dhabi

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We visit the depot or review photographs and measurements of each vehicle type. We note who sees the vehicles, from what distance and how fast, and the details you need on them.

  2. 02

    Architect

We design the message, the layout and the Arabic and English placement on accurate vehicle templates. You see each design on a side view, a rear view and a view from the road.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We prepare full-scale artwork and brief the fitter. Abjar Signboard Works can produce the graphics, and installation is agreed in the scope, at your depot or a workshop we arrange.

  4. 04

    Compound

As the fleet grows, we update the templates and files, so each new vehicle is branded to the same specification.

Cost

What shapes the cost of vehicle branding for an Abu Dhabi fleet

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Number and type of vehicles

Each body type needs its own template and artwork, and a mixed fleet needs more of them.

Coverage

A logo and contact panel is a smaller job than a full wrap.

Bilingual layouts

Arabic and English on both sides, and any change of layout between sides.

Materials and finishes

Vinyl type, lamination and special finishes affect production quotes.

Installation

Where and how vehicles are fitted, and how many are done at once.

Approvals

Where a permit or authority approval applies, it adds steps and may add fees.

Questions and answers

Will you meet us at our depot in Abu Dhabi?

Yes. For a fleet it helps to see the vehicles, so we can visit your depot and take measurements. Further reviews run online.

Can you design for a mixed fleet of vans and trucks?

Yes. We create a base design and adapt it to each body type, so the fleet looks related. Accurate templates for each vehicle type are part of the work.

Do vehicle graphics need a permit in Abu Dhabi?

Rules on commercial vehicle graphics can apply, and they vary by authority and by type of vehicle. We identify what to check at the start, and you or your fleet manager confirm it with the authority.

Can you handle fitting as well as design?

Abjar Signboard Works, part of Abcon Group, can produce the graphics, and we can arrange installation. If you have a preferred fitter, we prepare files to their specification.

Can the same livery work in Dubai and Abu Dhabi?

Yes. A single design can serve both, as long as any approvals in each place are checked before production.

What should we share before a vehicle branding project in Abu Dhabi?

Tell us the vehicle types and numbers and share any measured drawings or photographs. Send your logo and brand files, the information that must appear and the name of your fitter if you have one.

How do new vehicles get the same branding later?

We hand over production files, colour values and a rollout guide, so any fitter can brand a new vehicle to the same standard.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
