In short
Companies in Abu Dhabi tend to rebrand at a turning point: two firms combine, a second generation takes over, a local business becomes a regional group, or a trade name changes along with a licence. The real task is deciding which parts of the old identity still earn trust and which hold the business back. Abcon Branding guides that decision for Abu Dhabi companies from Dubai and Sharjah. We have no office in the capital, so audit interviews and the key decision meeting are held with you in person, and everything else runs online. Sometimes the right answer is a measured update, and we say so.

What is included
How a rebrand is staged
We shape the programme around what has actually changed:
01
Heritage audit
An inventory of every sign, document, vehicle and screen that carries the brand, plus what people connected to it say it stands for.
02
Equity check
Which names, colours, shapes and phrases customers already recognise and should keep.
03
Position reset
A revised statement of what the business offers and to whom, after a change in size or direction.
04
Name options
Whether to retain, amend or replace the trading name, with the commercial and legal questions listed for your advisers.
05
Identity redesign
Anything from a careful redraw to a new system, with Arabic and English developed as one.
06
Group structure
How a parent and its companies will present themselves from now on.
07
Transition plan
Which items switch first, what runs in parallel for a period and when old versions retire, across signs, vehicles, packaging, uniforms, paperwork and the website.
08
Announcement
How to tell staff, customers and partners, and what each should hear.

When it helps
Triggers for a rebrand in Abu Dhabi
01
Two companies become one.
Operating under both names confuses partners. A single identity explains the combination.
02
The name no longer fits.
A business that started in one trade and now covers several is still described by a name from its early days.
03
Succession.
A new generation wants the firm to look as capable as it is, without discarding the trust that took years to earn.
04
More rivals each year.
New economic licences in Abu Dhabi rose 29% in 2025, according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office (from our UAE statistics page). A company that resembles its neighbours is easier to overlook.
05
A patchwork of marks.
Offices, vehicles and documents show different logos and colours. One rule set ends that.
06
Ambitions outrun appearance.
A firm bidding for larger or government-linked work may still present itself like a small shop.
Process
How we work on rebranding in Abu Dhabi
Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.
01
Diagnose
We interview leaders and front-line staff, collect every piece of branded material and ask customers and partners what the name means to them.
02
Architect
We agree what to retain, reset the position, settle the name and design the identity, then test it on a facade, a document and a vehicle before sign-off.
03
Deploy
We write the transition plan and prepare templates and rules. Abjar Signboard Works, German Printing Press and other Abcon Group companies can produce signs and print, or we supply files to your suppliers.
04
Compound
We check that each site, document and vehicle has changed and extend the system to new companies and products.

Selected work
Identity carried into the world, from our portfolio
Identities from our portfolio that travel from drawing to building, vehicle and stationery. We do not offer them as Abu Dhabi rebrands.
We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.
We (Tayn Roastery) have been working with Abcon Branding for the past 4 years for social media management, packaging design, and printing services. Their team has always been professional, creative, and reliable with on-time delivery. We’ve been consistently happy with the quality of work and highly recommend them.
I worked with them for my new startup. They supported me from my logo branding, product photography, website creation to marketing campaigns. Amazing team. Highly recommended.
Will you meet us in Abu Dhabi for a rebranding project?
Yes. We meet for the audit sessions and major decisions, and hold other reviews online. The schedule is in the proposal.
Do we need to change our name?
Not always. We set out the trade-offs of keeping, adjusting or replacing it and give a recommendation. If it changes, you confirm the legal and licence steps with your advisers.
How do we avoid losing recognition?
We find out what customers recognise and keep it where we can, such as a colour, a shape or the name. The change is introduced in an order that shows continuity.
Can you manage the signage and vehicle changes?
Abjar Signboard Works can produce signs and vehicle graphics, and we plan the order of work. Consents for external signs are flagged in the scope.
Can you help a group with several companies?
Yes. We decide how the parent and its companies relate, and show it on signs, documents and a website so the structure is clear.
Can the rebrand happen in stages?
Yes. We order the rollout so high-visibility items change first and the rest follow, which spreads the effort and the cost.
What should we share before a rebranding project in Abu Dhabi?
Share your current logo, documents and website, and photographs of signage, vehicles and uniforms. Tell us why you are considering a change, who approves and any dates it is tied to.
Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?
Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
