In short

Pictures and footage in Abu Dhabi do a handful of jobs at once: they help a visitor choose a table or a room, they give a procurement team a sense of a firm’s capacity, and they fill a feed that has to look current. Abcon Branding’s creative studio photographs and films food, goods, staff and premises, then assembles films and animation from the footage. We work from Dubai and Sharjah and have no office or studio in Abu Dhabi, so the crew travels to your venue or site, and preparation and edit reviews are held online.

What is included

What we can shoot and cut

Most briefs mix a few of these:

A camera screen showing a Velvia product shot with the set behind
01

Food and goods

Plated meals, packs and objects lit and styled for printed menus, ordering services, brochures and retail displays.

02

Rooms and venues

Dining rooms, boutiques, lobbies and workspaces photographed in natural light and the way a first-time guest walks in.

03

Portraits of staff

Directors, employees and regulars, guided so they look relaxed rather than posed.

04

Premises and projects

Working sites and finished spaces, documented for profiles and bids.

05

Company films

Interviews with leaders, footage of the work and a clear voice-over, for bids, exhibitions and your own sites.

06

Stills and clips together

Photographs and short films captured in one visit, so both carry the same look and message.

07

Versions and animation

Vertical, square and widescreen cuts, subtitles and animated titles, sized for every aspect ratio you publish in.

When it helps

When existing pictures hold a brand back

  1. 01

    Choice by picture.

Abu Dhabi recorded 26.6 million visitors in 2025, according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office (from our UAE statistics page). Hotels, restaurants and attractions are often assessed by their photographs before anyone books.

  2. 02

    Supplier pictures everywhere.

Pictures handed out by manufacturers can look like anyone else’s. Your own show the piece as you actually serve it.

  3. 03

    The space has changed.

A refit, a revised menu or a new branch makes old photographs misleading. Fresh frames show what a guest will actually find.

  4. 04

    A bid needs a face.

A short film can present the firm and its people. Evaluators have a lot to work through, so it should be brief and plain.

  5. 05

    Feeds run dry.

One session cannot feed a whole posting schedule. A planned set of stills and clips, with vertical cuts, keeps new material coming.

  6. 06

    The people are missing.

A company that sells on trust can look anonymous without images of its staff. A short portrait session fixes that.

Process

How we work on photography and video in Abu Dhabi

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We settle where each picture will appear and who has to approve it, then look at the venue, the light and the people involved.

  2. 02

    Architect

We write a shot list and a call sheet, and flag any permissions needed for public places, buildings or drones, which you confirm with the owner or authority.

  3. 03

    Deploy

The crew travels to Abu Dhabi to film and photograph. We retouch, colour-correct and export for each channel.

  4. 04

    Compound

We assemble an archive for reuse and plan return visits when menus, ranges or spaces change.

Questions and answers

Will your crew travel to Abu Dhabi to shoot?

Yes. The shoot happens at your venue or site, while planning and edit reviews run online. Travel is part of the plan and the quote.

Do you cover hotels and restaurants?

Our portfolio includes restaurant food photography and brand shoots. We prepare venue shots with you and settle the shot list in advance.

Do you need permits to film in Abu Dhabi?

Some locations, public places and drone flights need permission. We note what is likely to apply when we plan, and you or the venue owner confirm it.

Can you make a corporate film for a tender?

Yes. We keep it short and clear, in English, Arabic or both, using claims and figures that you approve.

Can you edit for social media?

Yes. We deliver cut-downs and formats for each platform alongside the main film or photographs.

What should we share before a photography and video project in Abu Dhabi?

Tell us what the pictures are for, and share brand files, examples you like and details of the venue, goods or staff. Say who approves and when you need the final files.

Who owns the pictures?

Ownership and usage are agreed in the proposal, which states where and how you may use the pictures and footage.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
