In short

Campaigns in the capital are shaped by what a site will allow as much as by the idea. Advertising permits issued in Abu Dhabi grew 14% in the first half of 2026, and advertisements rose 26% in 2025, according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office (from our UAE statistics page), so the roads and screens are busy. Abcon Branding creates campaigns for Abu Dhabi advertisers from Dubai and Sharjah. We have no office there, so we take the brief and present routes at your premises and work online in between. Abcon Group includes Abjar Signboard Works, German Printing Press and advertising companies of its own, so artwork can go straight to fabrication and print.

What is included

From brief to installation

A campaign can use any of these parts, chosen to suit the offer and the budget:

A close view of a backlit Snap Chay poster in a bus shelter
01

Objective and audience

Who the campaign must reach, what it should make them do and how you will know it worked.

02

Creative routes

A short list of ideas, each with a headline, a visual and the logic behind it, so the choice is an informed one.

03

Site-led outdoor design

Hoardings, shelters, facades and wraps drawn to each location’s dimensions and how far away it is seen from.

04

Printed pieces

Flyers, inserts and booklets, run by German Printing Press or your own printer.

05

Screen and social formats

Banners, stories and short clips cut from the same visual idea.

06

Arabic and English lines

Headlines written for each language rather than carried across, with layouts reversed where needed.

07

Films and animation

Short pieces for screens, built on the same idea as the still work.

08

Proofing and seasonal versions

Owner-specific proofs, safe margins for trimmed edges and swappable lines, so one visual can change its message when an occasion arrives.

09

Artwork, approvals and fitting

Files prepared to each site’s specification, with permits and landlord consents listed in the scope and fabrication handled by Abjar Signboard Works if wanted.

When it helps

When an Abu Dhabi launch needs a campaign agency

  1. 01

    The market is busy.

With permits and new licences both climbing, a launch competes with many others. A clear idea carries further than a larger placement.

  2. 02

    Sites need consent.

Hoardings, facade signs and wraps need permission from the authority or the landlord. Learning what applies at the start prevents artwork being turned back late.

  3. 03

The campaign must span two emirates.

Advertisers often cover Abu Dhabi and Dubai together, so the idea, language and offer have to hold in both.

  4. 04

The Arabic line reads as a translation.

A phrase that works in English may fall flat in Arabic. Writing both from the beginning keeps the idea whole.

  5. 05

    Formats multiply.

One idea has to fit a poster, a leaflet, a screen and a post. Without a key visual, each version drifts.

  6. 06

    Fabrication changes the look.

Artwork that is crisp on a monitor can disappoint on a wall or a sign. Working with the maker early avoids the surprise.

Process

How we work on advertising agency in Abu Dhabi

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We agree the objective, audience, sites and dates at a meeting in your office or online, and review what you have run before and what competitors are showing.

  2. 02

    Architect

We develop a short list of routes and mock them on real sites: a shelter, a facade, a feed and a leaflet. Arabic and English lines are written together.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We prepare artwork to each site’s specification and oversee fabrication and print through Abcon Group or your suppliers, including fitting where you want it.

  4. 04

    Compound

We review what the campaign delivered and keep the key visual for later bursts, adding formats as the offer evolves.

Questions and answers

How do you work with an advertiser in Abu Dhabi?

We take the brief and present routes at your premises, then work online. The meeting plan is part of the proposal.

Can you manage outdoor advertising in Abu Dhabi?

Yes. We design for each site and prepare artwork to its specification, and Abjar Signboard Works can fabricate and fit. We list the permits and consents at the start, and you or the landlord apply for them.

Can you write headlines in Arabic?

Yes. Arabic and English lines are written side by side and adapted rather than translated, and you approve the final wording.

Do you book the media space?

We plan where the campaign should run and prepare the briefs for the media owners. You or your media buyer books the space unless we agree otherwise in the proposal.

Can one campaign run across Dubai and Abu Dhabi?

Yes. We plan the creative to hold in both emirates and adjust offer, sites and timing for each.

Do you make films and animation?

Yes. Short films and animation are cut from the campaign idea for screens, social platforms and events.

What if a site owner sends our artwork back?

Owners sometimes return files over margins, type size or content rules. We build artwork with trim, bleed and legibility in mind, check it against the owner’s specification before submission and amend it if a revision is requested.

Can the campaign follow a seasonal or event theme?

Yes. Conferences, exhibitions, national occasions and religious seasons all give natural hooks. We plan the artwork so the same visual can carry a different line when the occasion changes.

What should we share before an advertising project in Abu Dhabi?

Share the objective, audience and offer, key dates, your brand files and past campaigns. Tell us which sites or media you are weighing and who signs off.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
