Logo design in Ras Al Khaimah.

Arabic and English logos drawn for a facade, a carton and a phone screen.

Offices in Dubai (Al Qusais) and Sharjah (Muweilah), working across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, and in Oman.

In short

In Ras Al Khaimah a logo has to cope with an unusual range of jobs: a sign that the municipality will only permit if Arabic fills at least half of it, a stamp on an export carton and a tiny circle on a marketplace listing. Abcon Branding designs logos for owners in the emirate, in English, Arabic or both, and tests each one at the sizes where it will actually be used. We work from Dubai and Sharjah, with no office in Ras Al Khaimah, and meet you on site for the first brief and for the presentation of routes. Drafts, revisions and final files move online. You receive master files and a one-page usage sheet your sign maker can follow.

What is included

What logo design for a Ras Al Khaimah business includes

A good logo is a decision about identity, not a drawing exercise. For companies in the emirate the project normally contains:

The STRYV logo embroidered on a black hoodie
01

A brief and a short audit

What the name should say, who sees it first and which marks around you already look similar.

02

The right type of mark

A wordmark, a symbol, a monogram or a combined emblem, chosen for the name and the places it must appear.

03

Two or three routes

Distinct directions shown in context, so you compare ideas on a facade and a carton rather than in a blank white box.

04

Arabic and English together

Both scripts drawn at matching weight, with lockups for signs that give each language its due share.

05

Construction and grid

The geometry behind the mark, which keeps a sign painter, a stamp maker and a screen designer drawing the same shape.

06

Colour and reversed versions

Full colour, one colour, white on dark and black on light, with printing values for each.

07

Small-size and distance tests

The mark shrunk to favicon and invoice size, and viewed from across a road at signboard scale.

08

Master files and a usage sheet

Vector files, clear space and minimum size rules, and a page that says what not to do to the logo.

When it helps

When a Ras Al Khaimah company should redraw its logo

  1. 01

It fails on the municipality sign.

The sign board permit requires Arabic text across at least 50% of the advertising space. A logo whose Arabic is tiny or missing leaves the facade design with nothing to work with.

  2. 02

The mark was made in English only.

Many companies in the emirate trade with Arabic-speaking customers and international buyers at once. A one-script logo forces a poor translation later.

  3. 03

It disappears on a marketplace tile.

E-commerce licences made up 17% of new RAKEZ companies in 2025, according to RAKEZ. A mark that becomes mush at thumbnail size is a handicap for them.

  4. 04

    It looks like a neighbour’s.

With more than 40,000 companies registered with RAKEZ (the figure is on our UAE statistics page), sharing a colour and a swoosh with a competitor is easy.

  5. 05

Print shops redraw it differently every time.

If every printer gets a slightly different file, the mark has no master. A clean vector master with a usage page ends that.

  6. 06

The owners have changed the business.

A trading firm that now runs a service line, or an importer that starts exporting, often needs a mark that stretches rather than one tied to the first product.

Process

How we work on logo design in Ras Al Khaimah

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We sit down with you, ask what the name means, who must recognise it first and where it will hang, and gather every place the old mark appears. We also look at the logos of the companies you compete with so ours does not echo theirs.

  2. 02

    Architect

We sketch several families of ideas, then refine two or three and draw them in Arabic and English. Each is shown on a mocked-up signboard, an export carton, a stamp and a phone icon so the choice is made on evidence.

  3. 03

    Deploy

After you choose, we finish the geometry, set the colour values, produce the full set of versions and test the smallest and largest sizes. We pack the master files with a usage sheet, and we can brief your sign maker directly.

  4. 04

    Compound

When you add a sub-brand, a product or a second language, we extend the logo family without breaking the original. Questions from printers and suppliers can come back to us for a quick check.

Cost

What shapes the cost of a logo in Ras Al Khaimah

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Starting point

A first logo for a new licence differs from a considered redraw of an established mark.

Languages

An Arabic version designed alongside the English needs separate drawing and checking.

Type of mark

A plain wordmark and an illustrated emblem with several details carry different drawing time.

Routes and revisions

The number of directions shown and rounds of change you want are set out before the work starts.

Versions and lockups

Horizontal, stacked, icon, one-colour and sign-specific artwork each need their own testing.

What travels with it

A logo alone is smaller than a logo with a colour system, templates and a sign brief.

Name checks

If the name is new, trademark and domain research is added to the scope.

Questions and answers

Can you design a logo without visiting Ras Al Khaimah?

Yes, most of the work happens from Dubai and Sharjah. We still like to meet you on site for the first brief and the presentation, because seeing your premises and neighbours shapes the design.

Will the logo work on a signboard that needs a permit?

We draw sign lockups with the published rule in mind, Arabic over at least half the sign space and the sign within 40% of the facade area. The permit application remains yours or your landlord’s.

Do you design the Arabic yourselves?

Yes. Arabic lettering is drawn with the same care as the English, and we show both in the same tests, so neither looks like an afterthought.

What should we share before a logo design project in Ras Al Khaimah?

Share the business name and any alternatives, what you sell, who buys it and where the logo will appear first. Send the current logo, sign photographs and examples of marks you like or dislike. Tell us who has the final say.

Can you redraw a logo we already have?

Yes. We review what people recognise in it, keep what works and fix what does not, so customers still know you after the change.

How many logo concepts do we see?

We agree the number of routes and revision rounds in the proposal. The aim is a small set of clearly different directions, not a long catalogue.

Can you prepare the logo for online shops and marketplace tiles?

Yes. We build a compact version for small square spaces and test it at thumbnail size, besides the main version for signs and print.

Do you have Ras Al Khaimah clients for logos?

Not one we could honestly list. The marks above come from the wider UAE portfolio, and they are offered as proof of how we draw, not as local history.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
