In short

Most graphic design jobs in a working business are small and constant: a menu reprint, a price sheet, a leaflet for a visiting group, a notice at the door. Done badly, each one weakens the brand; done well, they make a company look sure of itself. Abcon Branding designs these everyday pieces for businesses in Ras Al Khaimah, with a firm sense of hierarchy, bilingual layouts and files your printer can use first time. Where a sign is involved we keep to the municipality’s rule that Arabic covers at least half of the sign. We work from Dubai and Sharjah, with no office in the emirate, and visit you for briefs and reviews.

What is included

What graphic design covers for a Ras Al Khaimah business

This is design for communication, not a full brand programme. It suits businesses that need good work on a steady stream of materials. It can include:

A green Kukit poster with a yellow pattern strip leaning on a plaster wall beside a rolled sheet
01

Menus and price lists

Layouts that put the best sellers where eyes fall first and make prices easy to compare in both languages.

02

Brochures and leaflets

Folded and flat pieces for tour groups, clients and walk-in customers, with clear headings and one action.

03

Posters and window graphics

Notices and promotions that read from the pavement, set up so staff can change dates without redesign.

04

Forms and documents

Booking forms, order sheets and terms laid out so people fill them in correctly.

05

Sign and wayfinding artwork

Shopfront, door and directional graphics with the Arabic share and facade proportion checked.

06

Information graphics

Maps, process diagrams and icon sets that explain a service in one glance.

07

Social and screen graphics

Cover images, banners and templates sized for each channel.

08

Print-ready files

Artwork with bleed, colour settings and fonts packaged for the printer.

When it helps

Signs a Ras Al Khaimah business needs better graphic design

  1. 01

The menu is hard to scan.

If guests ask what the specials are, the layout has failed. A good menu answers before the question.

  2. 02

The shopfront has too much on it.

The municipality caps a sign at 40% of the facade area, so every word and symbol on it has to earn its place.

  3. 03

    Arabic is squeezed in.

The same permit asks for Arabic across at least half the space. A design that fights this ends up cluttered.

  4. 04

Visitors cannot tell what you offer.

With 1.35 million overnight visitors in 2025, according to the tourism authority, many customers are seeing your leaflet cold.

  5. 05

    Materials look like different businesses.

A flyer, a poster and a form in three styles tell a customer the left hand does not know the right.

  6. 06

    Printed pieces come back wrong.

Missing bleed, wrong colour settings and substituted fonts are all signs of artwork that was never print-ready.

Process

How we work on graphic design in Ras Al Khaimah

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We collect what you use now, the menus, forms, signs and leaflets, and ask what each one is meant to make people do. We note where customers hesitate and where staff improvise.

  2. 02

    Architect

We set a simple visual language and design the first pieces in Arabic and English. You see them at full size beside the originals, and a sign is shown on a photograph of your facade.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We prepare print-ready files and brief the printer or sign maker. German Printing Press and Abjar Signboard Works, both in Abcon Group, can produce, or we release files to your supplier.

  4. 04

    Compound

As seasons, offers and menus change, we update pieces within the same system and keep a shared folder of current files so your team never reaches for an old one.

Cost

What shapes the cost of graphic design in Ras Al Khaimah

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Range of touchpoints

A menu and a leaflet differ from a full set of forms, signs and screen graphics.

System development

If no visual language exists, building one comes before individual pieces.

Languages

Arabic and English versions each need layout and proofing.

Production preparation

Print-ready files with specifications for each supplier add checking time.

Ongoing updates

Regular menu changes and seasonal pieces can sit on a standing arrangement.

Sign artwork

Facade and wayfinding artwork requires measurements and permit awareness.

Questions and answers

Is graphic design different from branding?

Yes. Graphic design makes specific pieces. Branding decides the idea and identity that those pieces express. If you have a brand already, graphic design is often all you need.

Can you design signs that meet the municipality’s rules?

We design with the published rules in mind: Arabic across at least half the sign space and the sign within 40% of the facade. Permit applications are for you or your landlord to submit.

What should we share before a graphic design project in Ras Al Khaimah?

Send what you use now, a logo and brand files if they exist, the text and prices to be shown, sizes and quantities, and the printer’s requirements. Tell us who approves and the date you need the pieces.

Can you set up templates we edit ourselves?

Yes. We can build editable menu and poster templates for staff to update, locked where the brand needs protection.

Do you design for both languages at once?

Yes. We plan the layout around both from the start, so neither is squeezed.

How do we meet if we are in Ras Al Khaimah and you are in Dubai or Sharjah?

We visit for the first brief and key reviews, and send drafts as images or links. Quick changes are handled by message.

Can you handle many small jobs through the year?

Yes. A regular arrangement keeps a designer familiar with your brand, so small jobs turn round quickly.

Do you have graphic design clients in Ras Al Khaimah?

None to list. The examples on this page are drawn from our wider UAE portfolio.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
