Print design / Product distribution

SAPCO

A SAPCO category-and-brand portfolio that turns a broad product range into organised editorial spreads, with distinct sections for brands, FMCG and product categories.

SAPCO print design by Abcon

Project scope

  • Product portfolio design
  • Brand and category hierarchy
  • Editorial print layout

How the publication works

The design task

A broad product portfolio can be difficult to navigate. The design task is to organise the range so a reader can move from the company introduction to a relevant brand or category.

Organise before adding detail

The supplied spreads separate the company introduction, in-house brands and FMCG information. The hierarchy gives different kinds of content their own role.

Make categories visible

Product photography and large category headings give the groceries, disposables and dairy sections distinct entry points. The layout connects a broad range without presenting every item in the same uninterrupted list.
