Vehicle branding in Ajman.

Markings for Ajman caterers, trades and couriers, designed for vans, pick-ups and trucks in two languages.

Offices in Dubai (Al Qusais) and Sharjah (Muweilah), working across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, and in Oman.

In short

A marked vehicle advertises the business whenever its wheels turn. Ajman is the smallest emirate and lies between Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain (UAE Government portal), so a pick-up based here can serve a customer in a neighbouring emirate as easily as at home, and be noticed on the way. Abcon Branding designs vehicle markings for Ajman businesses from our Sharjah office in Muweilah. We have no office in Ajman. We call at your garage or yard, photograph and measure what you drive, and design online. Abcon Group’s Abjar Signboard Works can produce the artwork, or we prepare files for your own installer. Our proposal prices creative work apart from printing and fitting, so each can be compared on its merits.

What is included

What a vehicle branding project includes

A small hatchback and a refrigerated lorry need different treatments. The work is chosen from this list:

A close view of the Mednoora logo on a van side panel
01

Vehicle survey

Photographs and measurements of each model, noting windows, door handles, seams and corrugations that interrupt a design.

02

Concept for the markings

A layout for name, symbol, trade line and phone number, arranged so a driver stopped at a junction can take it in.

03

English and Arabic

Both languages placed so each side of the vehicle reads properly, from front to back and in both directions.

04

Rules for mixed vehicles

Guidance on how a hatchback, a pick-up and a lorry share one look without being copies.

05

One contact route

A telephone number, address or QR code sized for a moving reader, and nothing more than people can absorb.

06

Print-ready artwork

Scaled templates with cut lines and seam breaks marked, for the printer and installer.

07

Production management

Quotations and supervision of printing, through Abjar Signboard Works or your chosen supplier.

08

Fitting guidance

Advice on surface preparation, positions and checks before and after application.

09

Removal and renewal notes

How markings come off at the end of a lease or a contract, and how worn sections are replaced one at a time.

When it helps

Signs an Ajman business needs vehicle branding

  1. 01

    Your vehicles are plain white.

Each one is a free advert you are not using. A simple name, number and trade line does a great deal of work.

  2. 02

    What you drive looks unrelated.

One carries a faded sticker, another a hand-painted name and a third nothing. Customers assume three separate firms.

  3. 03

    Your journeys cross emirate lines.

A working day may take them into Sharjah, Dubai and beyond. Many onlookers have never heard of you, so the message must work without explanation.

  4. 04

    The writing is too small.

A long menu of services in thin type cannot be read at traffic speed. A short message in heavy lettering can.

  5. 05

The Arabic faces the wrong way.

On one side it reads backwards or sits awkwardly beside the English. Each side deserves its own correct layout.

  6. 06

    More vehicles are arriving.

A new route or contract brings new drivers and new models. A shared scheme lets them match without a fresh design each time.

Process

How we work on vehicle branding in Ajman

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We call at your garage or yard to see the vehicles in daylight, measure each model and hear what the drivers do from morning to evening. We collect your logo files and watch how rivals’ vehicles read from across a junction.

  2. 02

    Architect

We draw markings meant to be understood in a glance, fit them onto scaled outlines of your own vehicles and refine them with you. English and Arabic are set for each flank, and the phone number is limited to what a passer-by can absorb.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We prepare production files and manage printing through Abjar Signboard Works or your own installer. The proposal separates creative work from printing and fitting, and we check proofs and positions before anything is cut.

  4. 04

    Compound

As new vehicles are added we adapt the scheme to each model and keep the artwork files current. We can also revisit it when the logo, number or services change.

Cost

What shapes the cost of vehicle branding for an Ajman business

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Number and type of vehicles

One van, a mixed group of cars and lorries and many vehicles of one model each need different amounts of design and artwork.

Coverage

A name and number on the doors is a smaller job than full coverage of every surface.

Material and finish

Vinyl type, laminate and finish affect the printed cost and how long the result lasts.

Design complexity

Photographs and pattern take longer to prepare than flat colour and lettering.

Fitting

Installation is quoted separately and depends on the vehicle, its surface and the place where it is done.

Later changes

Adding models, revising a phone number or replacing worn sections is quoted apart from the first fit.

Questions and answers

Will you visit our garage in Ajman?

Yes. We come from our Sharjah office to see the vehicles, measure and photograph each model and learn how drivers use them. If we cannot visit, we can work from photographs and measurements you send.

Can you produce and fit the markings?

Abjar Signboard Works can produce the artwork, or we prepare files for your own installer. Fitting is agreed in the scope, at your premises or at a workshop.

How much of a vehicle should carry the design?

That depends on the aim and the vehicle. A clean door with name and number may be enough for a small trade, while a delivery brand may choose full coverage. We show both so you can decide.

Can the markings use both English and Arabic?

Yes. We draw the two scripts together and set each flank so the Arabic sits comfortably. We keep the wording brief enough to read at traffic speed.

Do we need permission to mark a vehicle?

If the vehicles are leased or belong to a client, check the owner’s permission before artwork goes on. We raise this question before the design is finalised.

Can you brand vehicles of different sizes?

Yes. We design one scheme that adapts to a car, a pick-up and a lorry, so everything on the road looks like one company without being identical.

What happens to the artwork when a vehicle is returned or sold?

Vinyl can usually be removed, though the paint underneath and the age of the vehicle affect how cleanly. We note this in the proposal and suggest a design that can be taken off or renewed section by section, so a lease return does not mean repainting.

Can you promise that the markings will bring work?

No. Good markings make your vehicles easy to notice and call, but we cannot promise a number of enquiries. We say honestly what a marked vehicle can and cannot do.

What should we share before a vehicle branding project in Ajman?

Send the number and models of vehicles, pictures of each flank, your logo files and the message you want people to remember. Tell us how the vehicles are used and who will fit the artwork.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
