In short

Ajman is the smallest emirate, yet it holds a great many companies. Ajman’s Department of Economic Development counted 41,603 active business licences at the end of the first quarter of 2026, up 16% on a year earlier (reported by Zawya from WAM). With that many firms sharing a small market, a brand has to be recognised quickly by neighbours, trade customers and passing visitors. Abcon Branding serves Ajman from our office in Muweilah, Sharjah, which shares a border with the emirate. We have no office in Ajman. We come to your premises for the first conversation and the main reviews, and handle the rest by phone, video and shared files. This page sets out what a branding project covers and what we can honestly show.

What is included

What a branding project for an Ajman business covers

Ajman enquiries run from a first logo for a newly licensed company to a fresh start for a family firm with several trades. Depending on the brief, the work draws on some or all of this:

A Jumanah Foods business card with a gold foil monogram over a patterned card
01

Positioning

A short written answer to who you serve, why they pick you over the shop or workshop down the road and what you want to be known for.

03

Colour, type and pattern

A palette and typefaces tested on the surfaces you actually use, from shopfront glass to cartons and uniforms.

04

Stationery and templates

Letterheads, quotations, invoices, cards and slide masters, so every document leaving the business looks like one company.

05

Signage and vehicles

Fascia, wall and van artwork, produced through Abjar Signboard Works or supplied to your own sign maker, with permit requirements flagged early.

06

Packaging and print

Labels, boxes, brochures and menus, printed through German Printing Press or your own printer.

07

Website and social profiles

A bilingual site and matching profile artwork, so a customer who finds you online meets the same brand as in the shop.

08

Guidelines

A short working guide and a folder of files that staff and suppliers can use without calling us.

When it helps

Signs an Ajman business needs a branding project

  1. 01

Customers describe you by your street, not your name.

If people say “the shop near the roundabout” instead of using your name, the brand is not doing its work. A clear name, colour and fascia let people find you without directions.

  2. 02

Your licence is newer than your logo.

Ajman’s Department of Economic Development issued 1,617 new licences in the first quarter of 2026, 904 of them professional and 677 commercial (from our UAE statistics page). A logo made in a rush at licensing often ends up carrying the whole business.

  3. 03

Arabic and English do not match.

One language looks drawn and the other looks typed in afterwards. Customers notice, and so do officials and partners.

  4. 04

The van, the shop and the invoice look unrelated.

Each was ordered from a different supplier at a different time. Together they tell customers that nobody is in charge of the brand.

  5. 05

    You sell beyond Ajman.

Many firms here supply customers in Sharjah and Dubai, where nobody knows the family name. The brand has to explain who you are at first sight.

  6. 06

A second branch or product is coming.

Without a system, each new branch or range gets its own improvised look. A little structure now saves rebuilding later.

Process

How we work on branding agency in Ajman

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We meet at your premises in Ajman, or at our Sharjah office in Muweilah if that is easier, and walk through the business: the shopfront or yard, the vehicles, the paperwork. We collect your current logo, documents and photographs and look at the companies your customers compare you with.

  2. 02

    Architect

We agree the position first, in a page of plain words. Then we design the identity in English and Arabic together and show it in context before you approve it: a fascia, an invoice, a van door and the home page of your website.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We build the guidelines, templates and artwork files, and prepare signs, print and packaging. Abcon Group includes Abjar Signboard Works, German Printing Press and its own advertising companies, so production can stay in one group, or we supply files to the suppliers you already use.

  4. 04

    Compound

When you add a branch, a product line or a new trade, we extend the system instead of starting again. Reviews take place by video, by phone or back at your premises, depending on what the stage of work needs.

Selected work

Branding work from our portfolio that carries to Ajman

We have no Ajman project to show, and we will not pretend otherwise. These identities, made for food, retail and healthcare businesses elsewhere in the UAE, show the kind of system an Ajman shop, trader or clinic would receive.

Cost

What shapes the cost of branding for an Ajman business

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Size of the business

A single shop, a trading company with several departments and a group with subsidiaries each need a different amount of thinking and a different number of applications.

Research and strategy

How many people we interview, whether we study your competitors in depth and how many workshop sessions the decision needs.

Bilingual scope

How many items need Arabic and English versions, and whether we write or adapt the Arabic copy.

Applications

The more surfaces the identity must cover, from stationery to vehicles and a website, the more design and checking it takes.

Production

Signs, print and vehicle graphics are quoted separately, by size, material and any permit needed.

Meetings on site

How many workshops and reviews take place at your premises rather than online.

Questions and answers

Do you have an office in Ajman?

No. Our offices are in Al Qusais, Dubai and in Muweilah, Sharjah. Muweilah is the natural base for Ajman clients because the two emirates share a border. We come to you for the first conversation and the key reviews, and run the remaining work online.

How do meetings work for a business in Ajman?

The first diagnostic meeting and the main workshops usually happen at your premises, so we can see the shop, yard or office. Draft reviews and small changes run by video or phone. We set the pattern of meetings out in the proposal.

Have you worked with companies in Ajman?

We do not have an Ajman project to point to, so we show work from our portfolio that carries across, such as the Snap Chay and Truslink identities. If a client reference matters to you, ask and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot share.

Can the identity work in Arabic and English?

Yes. We design both scripts together so neither is a translation of the other, and check them on signs, documents and screens. Where you need Arabic copy written or adapted, we scope that with you.

Can you also produce the signboard and the printing?

Yes. Abjar Signboard Works handles signage and German Printing Press handles print, both inside Abcon Group. You can also take the artwork files and use your own suppliers. Signs outside a building may need permits from the relevant authority, and we raise that early.

Is a new licence the right moment to build a brand?

It is a good moment, because nothing needs undoing yet. A new company can choose the name, logo and templates once, then grow into them. An older company can start from a review of what it already has.

Can you work with a company licensed in a free zone?

Yes. The type of licence does not change how we work. We ask for your trade name and licence wording early so that every document and sign carries it correctly.

What should we share before a branding project in Ajman?

Tell us what the business does, who buys from you and which companies customers compare you with. Share your current logo, documents, photographs of your premises and vehicles, and any plans for a new branch or product. Rough notes are fine.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
