In short

Most of what an Ajman business shows the public is graphic design: the menu on a table, the price list at a counter, the flyer through a door, the poster on a wall and the picture on a phone. Ajman is the smallest emirate and lies between Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain (UAE Government portal), so printed material often travels beyond its borders. Abcon Branding designs it from our Sharjah office in Muweilah and from Dubai. We have no office in Ajman. We visit to see where your material is used, then design online. Graphic design here means clear hierarchy, readable Arabic and English and files that print correctly, not decoration. Printing can be done through German Printing Press, part of Abcon Group.

Graphic design is a daily tool, not a single project. Typical work includes:

Menus and price lists

02

Brochures and catalogues

Multi-page documents for a product range or service list, in one or both languages.

03

Flyers and posters

Single-sheet pieces made to be read from a short distance, with one idea and one action.

04

Social and digital graphics

Post templates, banners, email headers and presentation covers sized for each screen.

05

Signage artwork

Artwork for shopfront panels, door vinyls, wall graphics and window displays.

Mirrored and mixed layouts with the correct reading direction, numerals and type.

08

Print-ready files

Bleeds, colour profiles and fonts prepared for your printer, or for German Printing Press.

When it helps

Signs an Ajman business needs better graphic design

  1. 01

Your menu or price list is hard to scan.

Customers hunt for the item and the cost, and staff are asked the same questions. A clear layout answers them before they ask.

  2. 02

    Arabic is an afterthought.

The Arabic column is smaller, crowded and a different style. Readers can tell at once.

  3. 03

Every flyer begins from a blank page.

Each job takes longer and looks different. Templates give a steady look and save time.

  4. 04

Files come back from the printer wrong.

Colours shift, text is cut off or images pixelate. Print-ready files remove the surprise.

  5. 05

    Material travels over borders.

Brochures and price lists are handed out in Sharjah, Dubai and beyond, where people have not met you. They have to explain you without you.

  6. 06

    Sizes differ across your screens.

A graphic that looks fine on a poster is too small on a phone. Each size needs its own layout.

Process

How we work on graphic design in Ajman

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We collect what you use now: menus, flyers, forms, signs and social posts. We note where they are used, how far away they are read from and who produces them, and we look at the competitors’ material your customers see.

  2. 02

    Architect

We set a layout system for grid, type, colour and Arabic and English, and design one or two key pieces first. You review them as printed proofs or on screen at their real size before we complete the rest.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We prepare print-ready files and web versions, and can arrange printing through German Printing Press or your own printer. Signage artwork can be produced by Abjar Signboard Works or sent to your fitter.

  4. 04

    Compound

We keep editable templates for the pieces you change often, such as menus and offers, and can update them for you or train your staff to do so.

Cost

What shapes the cost of graphic design for an Ajman business

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Number of pieces

A single flyer is quick, while a full menu, brochure and set of social templates is a larger job.

Page count and complexity

Long documents with tables, product lists and photographs take more layout and checking.

Languages

Bilingual layouts add writing, layout and proof reading.

Images and illustration

Stock, supplied or commissioned images and drawn artwork change the cost.

Revisions and updates

Menus and price lists that change often are better handled as a regular arrangement.

Printing

Printing, paper, binding and finishing are quoted separately by the printer.

Questions and answers

Can you come to Ajman to see where the material is used?

Yes. A short visit shows us the lighting, the distance and the counter, which change how big the text must be. After that, most of the work is done online.

Can you update our menu or price list regularly?

Yes. We set up an editable template and can update it for you whenever prices or items change, usually on a regular schedule we agree.

Do you design in Arabic and English together?

Yes. We set both languages to the same quality, with correct reading direction and numerals, and have native readers proof the Arabic.

Will you arrange printing?

If you want it, German Printing Press, part of Abcon Group, can print many pieces. Or we send print-ready files to your own supplier.

Can you design for delivery apps and social media?

Yes. We prepare each graphic at the sizes and file types each platform asks for and test how it looks on a phone.

How is graphic design different from branding?

Branding decides who you are and how you look. Graphic design applies that to the pieces people read. If the brand is not set, we recommend settling it first.

Do you have templates we can use ourselves?

Yes. We can build templates in tools your team already uses, so staff can make simple changes without breaking the look.

What should we share before a graphic design project in Ajman?

Tell us what the piece is for and who reads it. Share your logo, any current version, the text and images, the size, and the printer if you have one.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
