In short

Packaging is the brand a customer holds. For an Ajman restaurant, bakery or factory it may be a burger box, a jar label or a carton that has to be read in a shop, a delivery bag or a warehouse. Abcon Branding designs packaging for businesses in Ajman from our Sharjah office in Muweilah and from Dubai. We do not have an office in Ajman, so we visit your kitchen or production site to see what is filled, sealed and stacked, then work on the designs online. Arabic and English panels, ingredient and storage text and barcodes are planned from the first draft, because they take space. Printing can run through German Printing Press, part of Abcon Group, or your own printer.

What is included

What a packaging project covers

A packaging project depends on whether you sell hot food, bottled products or goods stacked in cartons. The work is chosen from this list:

01

Format and structure review

Which boxes, cups, bags, pouches or labels you need, and whether stock sizes will serve before anything custom is made.

02

Brand and pattern system

A way of using your logo, colour and pattern across the whole range, so each item belongs to one family.

03

Bilingual panels

Arabic and English names, descriptions and instructions laid out together from the first sketch.

04

Regulated information

Space for ingredients, storage advice, weights, barcodes and importer or manufacturer details, which you supply and approve.

05

Flavour or variant colour codes

A simple system that lets staff and shoppers tell sizes and flavours apart at a glance.

06

Takeaway and delivery items

Cups, sleeves, napkins, stickers and tamper seals that carry the brand to the customer’s door.

07

Dielines and print-ready files

Technical files prepared for your printer’s machines, with bleed, fold and cut lines marked.

08

Mock-ups and proofs

Visuals and printed proofs that let you check colour and fit before a full run.

When it helps

Signs an Ajman business needs new packaging

  1. 01

    Industry is growing around you.

In the first half of 2025 Ajman’s new industrial licences rose 11% and commercial ones 9% (Gulf Today, reporting Ajman Department of Economic Development figures). More makers and sellers on the shelf, or the delivery app, means yours has to be recognised in a second.

  2. 02

Your range uses stock boxes with a sticker on top.

It works to start, but a hand-applied label peels and shifts. A designed carton or sleeve looks consistent and is quicker to pack.

  3. 03

Arabic is squeezed into leftover space.

The Arabic text is small, crowded and pushed to the back. It should have its own place on the panel.

  4. 04

Flavours and sizes are hard to tell apart.

Staff reach for the wrong box and customers misread the label. A colour code solves the problem at the packing table.

  5. 05

Delivery is a big part of your sales.

A burger box or bakery bag may be the first thing a customer sees of the brand. It deserves the same thought as a sign.

  6. 06

You are moving from market stall to retail shelf.

Shelf packaging needs barcodes, claims, a net weight and legal text, none of which fit on a simple label.

Process

How we work on packaging design in Ajman

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We visit your kitchen, workshop or warehouse, or look at photographs and samples if you prefer. We note what is filled by hand or machine, what is stacked, what travels in a van and what the customer finally holds, and collect your current packaging and printer details.

  2. 02

    Architect

We design one structure and one system first, then roll it across the range. Arabic and English panels, legal text and barcodes go in from the start. We show everything as mock-ups on the real shapes before you commit to printing.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We prepare print-ready dielines, check them with your printer or with German Printing Press, and review proofs for colour and fit. Signage, vehicle graphics and shop-front artwork can follow from the same system through Abjar Signboard Works.

  4. 04

    Compound

When you add a flavour, size or seasonal item, we extend the system and supply updated files. That keeps the range consistent as it grows and prevents each new item being improvised.

Packaging from our portfolio that carries to Ajman

We have no Ajman packaging project to show. These ranges for food and drink brands elsewhere show how a single system covers boxes, cups, wrappers and delivery items.

Cost

What shapes the cost of packaging design for an Ajman business

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Number of items

A single label and a full range of boxes, cups, bags and sleeves involve very different amounts of design and artwork.

Structure

Using standard boxes and cups is simpler than developing a custom shape, which needs dielines and test samples.

Bilingual and legal text

The more information the pack must carry in two languages, the more layout and checking it needs.

Variants

Each flavour, size or colour adds artwork and proof checking.

Photography or illustration

Product photographs or drawn artwork add a separate stage of work.

Print and finishing

Printing, foils, embossing and quantity are quoted by the printer separately and change with the material.

Questions and answers

Can you visit our kitchen or factory in Ajman?

Yes. A visit is the best way to see how your products are packed, sealed and stacked. We come from our Sharjah office in Muweilah. If a visit is not practical, photographs, samples and a video call do most of the job.

Do you design for hot food and delivery?

Yes. We design boxes, cups, bags, sleeves and stickers so they work for hot, wet and oily food, and we check the sizes against your real portions. Final material choices come from your packaging supplier.

Who prints the packaging?

You choose. German Printing Press, part of Abcon Group, can print many items, or we supply print-ready files to your own supplier. We prepare dielines for whichever printer you use.

Will Arabic and English both fit on the pack?

We plan both languages from the first sketch, so neither is forced into leftover space. We also reserve room for any information regulations require, which you supply and approve.

Can you help us choose between stock and custom packaging?

Yes. We start with the formats your products really need and say honestly when a standard box with good printing will do. Custom shapes are suggested only when they solve a clear problem.

We sell at markets and online. Can one design serve both?

Usually yes. We design the system to work on a shelf, in a delivery bag and as a small thumbnail on an ordering app, and test the key panels at each size.

What do we receive when the design is finished?

Print-ready artwork files with dielines, colour references and a short guide to using the system for new items. We also check proofs with you before a full print run.

What should we share before a packaging design project in Ajman?

Tell us what you fill, how much and how it is sold. Send samples or photographs of the packs you use now, your logo files, your printer’s details if you have them and any legal text you must include.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
