In short

A logo is the one part of a brand that appears everywhere first: on the door, the invoice, the phone screen and the side of a van. Abcon Branding designs logos for Ajman businesses from our Sharjah office in Muweilah, next to the emirate’s border, and from our head office in Dubai. We have no office in Ajman, so we meet you at your premises for the briefing and the final presentation and do the drawing and revisions online. We draw the English and Arabic versions together and test them small, large, in one colour and reversed out. You receive finished files for every use, and a note explaining why the mark looks the way it does. Nothing is chosen from a template.

What is included

What a logo project includes

A good logo project ends with more than one picture. For an Ajman client the package is normally chosen from this list:

The STRYV logo embroidered on a black hoodie
01

A short discovery meeting

We ask what you sell, who buys it and what you dislike about your current mark, then write the brief back to you for approval.

02

Two or three real directions

Distinct ideas with reasons, not one idea in several colours, so the choice is a decision and not a taste test.

03

Arabic and English lockups

The two names drawn to the same weight and spirit, in a stacked layout and a side by side layout.

04

A symbol that can stand alone

A small mark for profile pictures, stamps, stitched uniforms and engraved signs.

05

Colourways and black and white

Full colour, one colour, white on dark and a version that survives a photocopier.

06

Stress tests

Your logo shown at the size of a favicon, on a printed receipt and on a fascia, before you approve it.

07

Finished artwork files

Vector files and web files named clearly, so your sign maker, printer and web designer never have to redraw anything.

08

A one-page usage note

Clear space, minimum size and the few mistakes to avoid.

When it helps

Signs an Ajman business needs a new logo

  1. 01

The logo only exists as a screenshot.

It was copied from a chat message and enlarged until the edges blur. A sign maker cannot cut it, and a printer will not trust it.

  2. 02

    Professional licences are growing quickly.

In the first quarter of 2026 professional licences led new issuances in Ajman with 904, ahead of 677 commercial ones (from our UAE statistics page). A consultancy, clinic or office without a shopfront lives or dies by a mark that looks credible on a card and a screen.

  3. 03

Your Arabic name is set in a different typeface.

The Arabic looks typed in and borrowed from another font. The two names should look as though one hand drew them.

  4. 04

    It fails at small sizes.

Fine lines vanish on a stamp, a tag or a profile picture. A mark meant for real use needs a simplified version.

  5. 05

    It looks like a neighbour’s.

Two firms on the same road with a leaf, a circle and a blue tone confuse customers. A drawn symbol with a reason behind it is easier to remember.

  6. 06

    It only works on white.

The moment it lands on a coloured van or a dark photograph, the lettering disappears. You need approved reversed versions.

Process

How we work on logo design in Ajman

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We start with the brief, in a meeting at your premises or by video if you prefer. We look at your current mark, your competitors’ signs along the roads your customers use, and the places the logo has to appear.

  2. 02

    Architect

We sketch several routes and take two or three to finished drawings. The English and Arabic are developed side by side, then shown on a fascia, a business card, a vehicle door and a phone screen so you judge them as they will be used.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We prepare the artwork in every format, with colour, one-colour and reversed versions, and hand over a short usage note. If you want signs, stationery or vehicle graphics, Abcon Group can produce them through Abjar Signboard Works and German Printing Press.

  4. 04

    Compound

As the business grows we can add lockups for new branches, a stamp, a social profile set or a simplified mark, so the logo stays consistent as it is used by more people.

Selected work

Logos from our portfolio that carry to Ajman

None of these were drawn for an Ajman client. They are here because the problems they solve, Arabic and English together, small sizes and reversed colours, are the ones an Ajman business meets.

Cost

What shapes the cost of logo design for an Ajman business

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Naming

A business that already has a name needs drawing only, while one that needs a name first has research and shortlisting added.

Number of directions

More routes taken to finished drawings means more design time before the choice.

Bilingual drawing

A proper Arabic and English pair takes more work than one script, and calligraphic Arabic takes more again.

Symbol or wordmark

A symbol with a story needs more exploration than a clean wordmark.

Size of the file set

The number of colourways, lockups and formats you need handed over.

Revisions

How many rounds of feedback are agreed in the proposal and how many people give it.

Questions and answers

Do I have to come to Sharjah or Dubai to approve a logo?

No. We can present designs at your premises in Ajman, or by video, and you can approve by message. Many owners prefer a short in-person meeting for the final choice, so you see the logo on a printout at full size.

Can you redraw our existing logo instead of replacing it?

Yes. If the idea is sound but the drawing is poor, we can rebuild it as clean vectors, fix the proportions and add the missing versions. We tell you honestly whether a redraw or a replacement serves the business better.

Will the Arabic version be a translation?

No. We design the Arabic name as part of the mark, adjusting weight, spacing and proportion so it sits comfortably beside the English. Where the name has no Arabic form yet, we help you decide on one.

Can the logo be used on a shop sign and a vehicle?

Yes. We test it on the surfaces you name before approval and supply artwork in the formats sign makers and vehicle installers ask for. Abjar Signboard Works can also fabricate the sign.

Do you have Ajman clients we can speak to?

We do not have an Ajman client to point to. Our portfolio shows logos for food, retail and service businesses elsewhere in the UAE. If a reference matters, tell us and we will discuss what is available.

What file formats do we receive?

Vector files for print and signs, web files for screens and a one-colour version for stamps and engraving. We name them clearly so a printer or sign maker can pick the right one.

Can you design a logo for a business that has no shopfront?

Yes. A consultancy, clinic or trading company with only an office needs a mark that works on cards, documents, email signatures and a website, so we test it there first.

What should we share before a logo design project in Ajman?

Tell us the business name in both languages, what you sell, who buys and what you like or dislike in other companies’ logos. Share any current logo file, and photos of where it will appear: sign, vehicle, packaging or documents.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
