In short

Graphic design is the daily work of a brand: the catalogue that goes to a buyer, the menu on the table, the flyer in the lift, the artwork a sign maker needs by Thursday. We design these for Sharjah businesses from our Muweilah office, on one visual system so each piece looks like it came from the same company. We set Arabic and English layouts together, build the hierarchy so a reader finds the price or the phone number quickly, and prepare files in the way the printer or sign maker needs them. Because Abcon Group includes German Printing Press and Abjar Signboard Works, we also know what a layout will cost to print and fit on a signboard. Bring the job in, and we will tell you what it needs.

Folded and single-sheet pieces for services, offers and events, in Arabic, English or both.

03

Menus and in-venue graphics

Menus, table cards, counter displays and wall graphics for restaurants, cafés and shops.

04

When it helps

Where Sharjah businesses need graphic design most

  1. 01

    Sellers with catalogues.

Wholesale and retail trade was the largest sector in Sharjah in 2023, at 24% of GDP, per our UAE statistics page. Traders and distributors live by catalogues and price lists, and a messy one costs sales.

  2. 02

    Makers with products to show.

Manufacturing was 16.7% of Sharjah’s GDP in 2023, according to the same page. A manufacturer needs spec sheets, brochures and packaging that make the range easy to understand.

  3. 03

Arabic and English on one page.

With 89% of residents non-citizens in the Sharjah Census 2025, according to our statistics page, many printed pieces need to be readable by people with different first languages. Layout is what makes two languages sit comfortably together.

  4. 04

A fresh start for new companies.

The Sharjah Economic Development Department recorded 4,597 new licences in the first half of 2026. A new company usually needs a brochure, a menu or a catalogue before it can afford a full branding project.

  5. 05

    Print that arrives wrong.

Files without bleed, wrong colour settings and low-resolution images lead to reprints. Preparing artwork for the actual press avoids a lot of waste.

  6. 06

    Pieces that drift apart.

Without a shared visual system, each flyer, sign and post is designed from scratch and the business ends up looking like several small ones.

Process

How we work on graphic design in Sharjah

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We start from the job and its reader: who will pick this up, where, and what they have to do next. You bring existing pieces, the content and any brand files. We note what the brief needs, what has to be included and how the final piece will be produced.

  2. 02

    Architect

We set the layout grid, type and image style, then design the piece in the languages needed. For a set of items, we design the system first and then the pieces, so a catalogue, a flyer and a sign agree. We show proofs at actual size.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We prepare production files for the printer or sign maker. German Printing Press and Abjar Signboard Works, both in Abcon Group, can produce the work, or we brief your own supplier. We check proofs before the full run.

  4. 04

    Compound

As new products, offers and branches arrive, we reuse the system so each new piece is quicker to make and looks as though it belongs with the rest.

Cost

What shapes the cost of graphic design in Sharjah

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Number of pages or pieces

A short brochure and a long catalogue are very different amounts of layout and checking.

Languages

Arabic and English layouts need two reading directions to be balanced on the same grid.

Content readiness

Supplied copy and images are faster than writing, sourcing or photographing them.

System or one-off

Building a reusable template set takes longer at the start and saves time on every later piece.

Print and signage specifications

Artwork for a sign, a vehicle or a special finish needs extra preparation to suit the maker.

Rounds of changes

The number of revision rounds and who has to approve each affects the time spent.

Questions and answers

What is the difference between graphic design and branding?

Branding decides what the business should stand for and builds the identity. Graphic design applies that identity to specific pieces such as brochures, menus and artwork. Many Sharjah businesses start with graphic design and add the brand work later, and it is fine to do it that way if the basics are in place.

Can I bring a printed job to your Sharjah office to discuss it?

Yes. Come to Muweilah with the old piece, the new content and a note of the quantity and deadline. It is easiest to agree what the job needs when you can show us the brief on paper.

Do you design catalogues and price lists?

Yes. We design the grid so a long list of products can be scanned, and set it up so prices and items can be updated without breaking the layout. We can supply the file for your team to edit, or update it for you.

Can you design menus for restaurants and cafés?

Yes. We design menus, table cards and counter pieces from the venue’s identity, with the Arabic and English set together. We prepare them for the printer and can adapt them for delivery apps.

Can you prepare artwork for signage and vehicles?

Yes. We draw to the real dimensions and materials, with bleed and cut lines, and brief the sign maker. Abjar Signboard Works is part of Abcon Group if you want the signs produced there.

Do you also print the work?

We design it and prepare the files. German Printing Press is part of Abcon Group and can print it, or you can send our files to your own printer.

Can you give our team editable templates?

Yes, where it makes sense. We can supply layouts in a format your team can edit for price lists, offers and social posts, with guidance on what to change and what to leave.

What should we share before a graphic design project in Sharjah?

Tell us what the piece is for, who will read it and how many you need. Share any logo and brand files, the text and images you have, an example of what you like and what you want to avoid. Tell us the deadline and who approves the final file.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
