In short

Good photography makes a business look as capable as it is. We plan and shoot food, products, people and places for Sharjah restaurants, factories, shops and service companies, and produce short films, social videos and motion graphics from the same footage. The shoot is planned from our Muweilah office, where we agree a shot list against how the images will be used: a menu, a catalogue, a website, a delivery app, a social feed or a company profile. Then we come to you, because the kitchen, the production line or the showroom is usually the best location. Because our designers and photographers work from the same brand, the images look like they belong beside your logo, packaging and layouts.

What is included

What photography and video cover for Sharjah brands

The scope follows the use. A restaurant needs different pictures from a factory, and a catalogue needs different frames from a reel. Typically we shoot:

A camera screen showing a Velvia product shot with the set behind
01

Food and drink photography

Dishes, drinks and menus shot for the printed menu, the delivery apps and social posts, with styling and props planned in advance.

02

Product photography

Individual products, ranges and packs shot cleanly for catalogues, websites and online listings.

03

Premises and interiors

The shopfront, dining room, showroom or warehouse photographed so a visitor knows what to expect.

04

People and lifestyle

Staff, craftspeople and customers in natural settings, for profiles, recruitment pages and social content.

05

Industrial and process shoots

Production lines, machines and finished work, shot so a buyer can see capability without visiting the plant.

06

Corporate and campaign films

Short films for the website, an event or a campaign, with a script or storyboard agreed first.

07

Social video and motion graphics

Vertical edits, short loops and animated titles cut to the formats each platform expects.

08

Editing and delivery

Colour correction and retouching, with files supplied in the sizes and formats you will actually use.

When it helps

Where Sharjah businesses need better images

  1. 01

    Restaurants that sell through pictures.

Aghadeer, a restaurant brand whose identity we designed, has a restaurant in Al Nahda, Sharjah. For food businesses, the photograph on a delivery app or an Instagram grid often decides the first order.

  2. 02

    Hospitality and visitors.

Sharjah welcomed 1.6 million hotel guests in 2024, up 11%, according to the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority on our UAE statistics page. Hotels, cafés and attractions compete for those visitors’ attention with photographs.

  3. 03

    Travellers passing through.

Sharjah International Airport handled 19.48 million passengers in 2025, up 13.9%, per our statistics page. Businesses that sell to travellers have a short time to catch their attention.

  4. 04

    Manufacturers with no good pictures.

Manufacturing contributed 16.7% of Sharjah’s GDP in 2023, per our statistics page. A manufacturer’s best proof is the plant and the product, and many firms lack decent photographs of either.

  5. 05

    Catalogues built on weak photos.

A trading firm may have a thousand products and pictures from five suppliers, all lit differently. Consistent images make the catalogue look like one company’s work.

  6. 06

Photos that do not match the brand.

Stock images and phone snaps rarely match the colours and mood of an identity. Planned shoots fix that at the source.

Process

How we work on photography and video in Sharjah

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We start with where the pictures will be used and what they need to do. You send the product list, the menu or the list of locations, and we discuss it at Muweilah or by phone. We agree the shot list, the number of setups, the styling, the languages on any text and who needs to be on site.

  2. 02

    Architect

We plan the day: locations, light, props, models if needed and a shot list in order of priority. For film, we write a script or storyboard and agree it before anyone is filmed. You approve the plan, so the shoot day is spent shooting.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We shoot at your restaurant, plant, shop or office, then edit, retouch and deliver files sized for each use. Where the pictures are going into print or onto a website, we hand them to the designers who are building those pieces.

  4. 04

    Compound

Images get old. We keep the shot list and the style notes so that new dishes, products or staff can be added later in a matching style.

Cost

What shapes the cost of photography and video in Sharjah

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most.

Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains how to compare quotes.

Number of setups and items

Ten dishes shot on one table are a smaller job than a full catalogue with changes of background and lighting.

Shoot days and locations

One location in one day is simpler than several sites or an outdoor shoot that depends on the weather.

Styling and props

Food stylists, props and models are scoped and quoted according to the concept.

Photography or film

Video needs scripting, filming, sound and editing, so it takes longer than stills.

Editing and retouching

Colour grading, cut-outs and retouching vary with how many images and how finished they need to be.

Usage and formats

The sizes, formats and number of versions you need for print, web and social shape the delivery work.

Questions and answers

Do you shoot at our premises in Sharjah?

Yes. We usually shoot at your restaurant, shop, factory or office, because that is where the real food, products and people are. We bring the lighting and equipment, agree the shot list in advance and tell you how to prepare the space.

Can we plan the shoot with you in person first?

Yes. Call the Sharjah office on +971 50 837 5841 and come to Rahma Abdullah Building in Muweilah. Bring your menu or product list and examples of images you like. The shot list is easier to agree in the room.

Can you photograph food for delivery apps and menus?

Yes. We shoot to the sizes and framing the apps and printed menus need, and we plan the styling so dishes look the way they will actually be served.

Can you photograph our factory or production line?

Yes. We plan around the production schedule, safety rules and any areas you do not want shown. The aim is pictures that show a buyer the capability of the plant.

Do you also make short films and social videos?

Yes. We write or storyboard first, film, then edit in the formats you need, such as a landscape film for the website and vertical cuts for social channels.

Can the pictures match our brand identity?

Yes. The studio works from the same brand direction as our designers, so colour, mood and composition suit your logo, packaging and layouts.

Who owns the images and footage?

Usage rights and delivery are written into the proposal before work begins, so you know how you can use the files. Ask us about any specific use, such as advertising or resale, early.

What should we share before a photography and video project in Sharjah?

Tell us what you want to shoot and where the images will be used. Share your logo and brand files, a product or menu list, the location and any access rules, and a few examples you like. Tell us the date you need the files and who approves.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
