Restaurant and cafeteria
Al Ijaza

Overview
A story-led website for a Jumeirah cafeteria open since 1990, built on hand-drawn illustration, a bold red headline voice and a menu, history and collaborations told in one scroll.
BriefAl Ijaza is known across Dubai as a roadside cafeteria people return to for decades. The website had to carry that affection and its history, while still getting a hungry visitor to the menu and an online order quickly.

How to read this deck
The deck pairs the client’s original presentation boards with new application scenes that show the identity in use.
Chapter 01
Digital
Open with a feeling, not a menu
The homepage opens on “Some places feed people.” in large red type over a cream grid, with line drawings of the original cafeteria and the Dubai skyline either side. The order button sits in the header from the first screen.
Tell the history in scenes
Hand-drawn moments (a sandwich after a beach drive, a fresh juice on a warm evening, a midnight stop) lead into a 1990 timeline, a menu carousel and the brand’s collaborations and press coverage.
