In short

Fujairah is easy to capture on camera: sea, mountains, old forts, a working port. It is harder to capture well for a business, because the image has to sell something, show a place accurately and work at the size of a phone. Abcon Branding produces photography and video for Fujairah companies from Dubai and Sharjah. We have no office in the emirate, so we plan the shoot online, travel to your location with the crew and kit and edit back in Dubai or Sharjah. We shoot product, food, lifestyle and corporate footage, then cut it for the site, social channels, print and presentations. Creative City Fujairah markets itself as a media hub, and we are happy to coordinate with local crews and facilities where a project calls for it.

What is included

What photography and video covers

A shoot is only useful if it fits the spots the images will be used. A Fujairah project usually includes: Light on this coast is hard and bright for much of the year, so we plan sessions for early or late hours, carry diffusion and bounce for midday, and scout for shade before any crew day.

When it helps

When a Fujairah business needs a shoot

  1. 01

    Your website uses stock images.

A picture from a library resembles anyone else’s and tells a customer nothing about you.

  2. 02

    Hospitality competes on images.

With 34 hotels and more than 5,000 rooms reported for 2025 by the Fujairah Statistics Centre via Gulf News, guests pick what looks best online.

  3. 03

    Menus and packs lack pictures.

A plain list of dishes or products sells less than a clear picture of each. Matching angle, background and lighting give a whole menu the feel of one kitchen.

  4. 04

    Phone snaps of varying quality.

An uneven mix of lighting and angles weakens a brand that is otherwise uniform.

  5. 05

    Corporate material is text only.

A profile with photographs of your site, staff and equipment is easier to trust than a sheet of claims.

  6. 06

You have a message to deliver.

A short film can show a port service, a kitchen or a workshop in a way text cannot.

Process

How we work on photography and video in Fujairah

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here. Read more about our process.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We ask where the images will appear, what they must show and who will see them. We visit or look at the location and plan light, access and any permissions you must arrange.

  2. 02

    Architect

We build the shot list, the schedule and the set-dressing notes, and settle who needs to be on site. You approve the plan before the crew travels. On the day we tick off each frame on the shot list, shoot a safe version first and then try bolder angles.

  3. 03

    Deploy

We shoot, then select, retouch and edit, delivering images and cuts sized for each channel. Food and products are not altered beyond normal retouching.

  4. 04

    Compound

We organise the library so your team can find and reuse images, and plan a follow-up shoot when the menu, rooms or range change.

Questions and answers

Will you travel to Fujairah for a shoot?

Yes. We work from Dubai and Sharjah and travel with the crew and kit for shoot days. Preparation and approvals happen online beforehand.

Do you edit the food and product photographs heavily?

No. We retouch for colour and cleanliness, but we hold food and products true to what the customer will receive.

Can you shoot hotel rooms and restaurants?

Yes. We plan light and timing around guests and service so the property looks its best.

Can you deliver a short film?

Yes. We write the script, shoot and edit short films, and cut versions for varied channels.

Do you use local crews?

We can work with local crews or facilities when a project needs them, and we say in the proposal who does what.

Who owns the images?

Usage rights are set out in the proposal. In most cases you receive the images and edits for your own business use.

Can you shoot at the port, on vessels or in the mountains?

Where access is allowed and safe. Port, vessel and remote sites usually need permission and sometimes a safety briefing, which you or the site owner arrange and we plan around. We do not shoot anywhere we have not been cleared to enter.

When is the best time of day to shoot there?

Usually early morning or late afternoon, when light is softer and colours are richer, with midday used for indoor scenes. We scout the location, check the sun’s path and weather and settle a plan B for indoor work before the crew travels.

What should we share before a photography and video project in Fujairah?

Send where and how the images will be used, your logo and brand look, the list of products, rooms or dishes and the dates you can offer. Tell us who must be on set and who approves the final images.

Do you work with businesses in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates?

Yes. We work with businesses in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain from our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai, and our office in Muweilah, Sharjah. We do not have an office in Abu Dhabi. Meetings happen in person at either of our offices, or online, whichever suits the project. Abcon Group also works in Oman.
