Brand architecture in Dubai.

Brand architecture decides how names and identities relate across a portfolio. A holding company, operating businesses, product families and new offers need clear roles, without unnecessary duplication. We work through endorsement, independence and hierarchy so customers, employees and partners understand what belongs together and what each name stands for.

What brand architecture includes

Give a group, its businesses and its offers a structure people can understand.

Portfolio mapping
Document the businesses, products, ownership relationships, audiences and plans for acquisition or expansion.
Architecture options
Compare a shared master brand, endorsed brands and independent identities against commercial and operational requirements.
Naming hierarchy
Define the relationship between company names, service lines, products and descriptors.
Migration rules
Plan how approved relationships appear in logos, websites, proposals and signage without confusing existing customers.

Where this work makes a difference

  1. The portfolio is becoming difficult to explain.

New businesses or products have been added without a shared naming or endorsement rule.

  2. Every launch begins from scratch.

A coherent structure can clarify which elements are inherited and where a distinct identity is justified.

How we work on brand architecture

Every project follows the same four stages. This is what they mean here:

  1. 01

    Diagnose

Map legal and commercial relationships, customer perceptions and future portfolio plans.

  2. 02

    Architect

Recommend the architecture, naming levels and endorsement principles, with leadership agreement.

  3. 03

    Deploy

Translate the structure into identity rules, digital navigation and a phased migration plan.

  4. 04

    Compound

Review each new offer against the architecture and update it when the business changes.

Scope, cost and timing

We quote every project after a first conversation, so the proposal matches what the business needs. These are the things that move the cost and the timeline most:

  • Portfolio complexity: Number of companies, product lines and relationships to resolve.
  • Decision makers: Leadership, legal and operational alignment may require several review rounds.
  • Migration breadth: Updating one group presentation differs from changing websites, signage and legal-facing materials across the portfolio.

Questions and answers

Does every business in a group need the same logo?

No. Shared ownership does not automatically require identical identities. The right relationship depends on audience overlap, reputation transfer, offer clarity and future plans.

Can existing brand names remain?

Yes. Architecture can organise established names and introduce clear endorsement or descriptors. Any renaming decision should consider recognition, practical migration and legal review.

What should we bring to discuss brand architecture?

Bring an accurate portfolio and ownership chart, current names and marks, future expansion plans and examples of how the group is introduced to customers. Identify any naming or legal constraints.

How do you agree the scope and timeline?

We start with the business question and the information available. For brand architecture, we agree the decisions, deliverables, review points, dependencies and responsibilities in a proposal before work begins. Access, approval and production requirements shape the schedule; there is no universal package or promised commercial result.
