A note before you read on: Abcon Branding wrote this guide, and we are a branding agency in Dubai too. We have not ranked anyone, ourselves included. The agencies are listed in alphabetical order, each with one point you can check on its own website, and we describe ourselves separately in a box marked About the author. Use the list to build a shortlist, then use the checks and questions further down to choose.
How we chose the agencies
We started from the agencies that appear again and again when people in the UAE search for a branding agency in Dubai, and kept the ones that met four tests:
- Work you can see. Named case studies on the agency’s own website, not only logos on a client wall.
- Branding as a core service. Strategy, identity or naming, not branding as an extra on a web or advertising offer.
- A UAE office. An office in Dubai stated on the agency’s own site.
- A track record. Enough history and published work to judge. Where an agency publishes its years in business, we say so.
We read each website on 25 October 2026. We left out ratings, review counts, prices and awards we could not see on the agency’s own pages, because they change and we cannot verify them. Agencies update their sites often, so check the details yourself before you contact anyone.

About the author: Abcon Branding. We are a branding agency with our head office in Al Qusais, Dubai and a second office in Muweilah, Sharjah, part of Abcon Group, which began in 1997. We design brand strategy, identities, logos in Arabic and English, packaging and websites, and our work page has 56 case studies with the original boards. Sister companies in the group make signs, print and packaging. We are not on the list above because we wrote it, and you should weigh what we say about choosing an agency with that in mind.
What the ranking lists do not tell you
Most of what you find when you search for the top agencies in Dubai is one of two things: a directory that ranks agencies by the reviews and profiles collected on its own platform, or a list written by an agency that puts itself at number one. Neither is useless, but neither answers the questions that decide whether a project goes well. Three things are worth checking yourself.

Where the design team sits. Some companies that appear on Dubai lists are registered or staffed elsewhere, and some Dubai agencies design in another country. That can work well. What matters is that you know before you sign, so you can judge how meetings, reviews and approvals will work, and who will answer when your signmaker needs a file at short notice.
Whether the agency can show Arabic work. In the UAE, many customers read the Arabic first. Ask for a bilingual project and look at whether the Arabic was drawn with the English or typed underneath it afterwards. Most agency websites in Dubai are in English only, so the portfolio is usually the best evidence you will get.
Whether the case studies show the thinking. A finished logo on a perfect background tells you an agency can make things look good. Construction grids, one-colour versions, early sketches and the reasoning behind a mark tell you how it works, and whether the result will hold up on a shop sign, a uniform and a phone screen.
How to choose an agency for your business
Start with your project, not the agency. Write down what you need now (a name, a logo, a full identity, packaging, a website), which languages it must work in, and where people will see the brand most. Then pick three agencies whose published work is closest to that, and send all three the same short brief so their answers are comparable.

Ask where each part of the mark came from
Trus Holding’s original inspiration board sets out the three sources of its circular emblem: a lower-case t, an upper-case H and a pair of sharing hands standing for trust. Asking an agency for boards like this shows whether its marks start from an idea about the client or from a template.
Trus Holding: The case combines the original signage presentation with six additional client-supplied boards. The building and vehicle applications are design mockups..

When you look at their work, ask to see the reasoning, not just the result. A good agency can show you why a mark looks the way it does. Our own Trus Holding board, below, is the kind of thing to ask for: it shows where each part of the emblem came from.
Pay attention to the questions each agency asks you. One that sends a price within an hour of your enquiry is usually selling a package. One that asks about your customers, competitors and where the brand will be used is planning the work. For a deeper version of this process, read our guide on how to choose a branding agency in Dubai.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Who will work on our project, and where are they based?
- Can we see two projects similar to ours, including the working boards?
- How will you handle the Arabic, and who checks the spelling and letterforms?
- How many concept routes and rounds of changes are included?
- Which files and rules do we receive at the end?
- Who owns the final artwork, and is that written into the agreement?
- What happens after launch if we need a new lockup, a sign or a pack?
An agency that answers all seven clearly, in writing, is easy to compare with the others. Vague answers to the first and last questions are the ones to worry about.
What branding costs in Dubai
Prices vary widely because agencies quote very different scopes under the same word. A logo, a full identity with guidelines, and a brand built from strategy to packaging are three different jobs. Our guide to what branding costs in Dubai explains what moves the price and how to compare quotes line by line, and the logo cost guide does the same for a logo on its own.
If you would like to see how we approach a full identity, our brand identity service sets out the scope, the process and the work. And if you are still deciding, use the questions above on us as well as on everyone else.
For practical support with this decision, explore our brand identity and logo design services. Each page explains the scope, how we work and what to consider before commissioning the work. Talk to us about your business challenge.
